jump drive and survey equipment

hi i just brought a jump drive and survey mk2 i had 350 thorium mox on board started the survey and by the time the survey got to about 40% it had used all the mox ? is this correct ? also how much T mox does it take to perform a jump with the jump drive. thk Free
