Kinkaku-ji, Shikoku

Yume looked out over the docks of Kinkaku-ji, where the Murasaki and the Akechi lay moored. She stared from the reinforced window towards the two modified Storta Cruisers, with only the sheet of crystalised glass and the void of space between them.

Even from here she could see the ongoing preparations of the crew, loading up the ships with fuel and modified projectiles for the training exercise. Their guest, Vin Chenzo, was still at the ambassy quarters. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing. It gave the GC time to gather the crews for both capital ships and run the checklist a couple of times.

Crates of dummy missiles were just being transported towards the Akechi over the walkway that connected the ship with the station.

Yume moved away from the window and made her way to the drydocks below to meet up with the crew of the Akechi.

Eri was hard at work as she had to Overlook the Loading Process of Both Cruisers. She had to Plan for a lot of things and made sure that everything that they would need during the Training Exercise was on board. On the Docks, there were Crates with everything from Munitions for the Ship's Weapons to Bullets for the Rifles and Pistols. But not only Weapons were loaded onto the Ships, but also Food and other supplies of Daily Life. Eri had made sure to Talk with the Ships Cooks to Provide them with everything that they would need for a Healthy and Delicious Diet.

Eri had a Clipboard in her hand as she Talked to the other Sisters and some of the Maltese Helpers that brought a Refrigerator Crate with Fresh Meat from some Sympathizers on Planet Honshu on board. She made an X at the Right Box and had one Item less on her List of things that had to be loaded. Next Came some Crates with Toilet Paper and other Bath Articles. It would take about one or Two Hours more for her to Load Everything on board and Store it safely for the Tripp.

While she Watched over the Procedures she had her Gaian Parrot Miri Sitting on her Shoulder and getting some Cuddles and Treats from time to time, or Simply flys around and inspecting some of the Crates when she Gets Bored.

Chenzo had been asked by Maruso Michiya to help bring two crews of Storta pilots up to standards fit of combat. It was part of a bargain of trade for resources he needed to begin building stations. The Chrysanthemums had not disclosed how they came about these vessels but that wasn't important to him. They were highly respected and trusted allies he was very fond of. In times of old through to the current day, they have proven invaluable to Malta's cause. The expansion of the orange dream and their pilots kept themselves to a line of honour in combat closely matched by the 101st Ghosts of Razgriz themselves.

For these reason alone, Chenzo would have more than gladly offered his time for the task even without the trade deal. He made them fully aware of this on agreeing.

As promised, he had dispatched the Dominus, a Storta class Destroyer to Kinkaku-ji. The ship had seen countless combat situations in nearing one and a half decades of service so far. It was important to Chenzo that each of his capital class ships could operate on their own with the assigned crews, only for delicate operations would he himself take command of anything other than a Sabre or Falcatte.

The idea was for the crew to be partnered two Chrysanthemums to one of the corresponding crew of the Dominus. As far as Chenzo knew, the selected Chrysanthemums had no experience of such warships at all, therefore required ground up training.

The crew of the dominus were naturally split into to their primary roles as follows:

- Navagational operatives
- Maneuvering staff
- Engineers for on hand maintenance away from stations
- Gunner controllers
- Kitchen and food staff
- Housekeeping staff
Naturally, each and every member of crew was able to take on every single role which was essential in the heat of battle. Capital class ships are indeed a impressive sight and a fearsome statement to foes. Few outside of such crew knew of the level of intricacy of which went in to running each and every capital ship. Chenzo had selected each member of each crew himself for his capital ships. Granja Justa had provided them.

The Dominus was initially dispatched directly to Kinkaku-ji, however business in Bretona had forced Chenzo to divert the ship which delayed them by two days. On the crew's arrival at the intended destination of the embassy wing in sector 1 of Kinkaku-ji, a sense of oddity fell over them. Never before had they seen such magnificence by the hands of the Gen'an cell. No wonder they were able to deliver such quantities of materials requested.

Adachi strolled past the reinforced windows overlooking the Murasaki-Kan and Akechi-kan, moving between groups of active GC personnel as they hustled back and forth through the corridor.

Upon reaching a spot with a good view, she paused momentarily, looking out at the Murasaki. Feelings of joy overwhelmed her as she took in the sights of the crew bustling around the cruiser.

Adachi had been gone for nearly six months tending to her last remaining family in Kusari. There was much secrecy surrounding her absence, and leaving her post was not easy for her, but honor required it. She was indescribably excited to be home again, happy that her time away had passed.

As she looks out at her newest command, she smiles and says aloud, "Your still mine, you ugly thing. Couldn't get away from me that easy." She then straitens her posture, takes a deep breath, and walks briskly toward the docking bay.

She still has much work to do before launch, verifying everything is in order. "There shall be no mistakes." she says to herself as she continues walking, "No errors of any kind!" Her smile was now gone, revealing a fierce and determined demeanor.

Himari was helping to make sure the cruisers were loaded up with the proper supplies. She was focused on making sure that the radio systems were up and running, but helping the others with their items, as well. "This will be wonderful!" she thought to herself. "I can't wait to serve on one of these."

One of the crates started to tip over, but Himari noticed and called for help to prevent it. It was a struggle, as the crate was very heavy, however, they were able to keep it upright, and made double sure it was secured properly again. Then the crate hauler it was on continued on it's way.

"That was close." she thought to herself. Then she made sure the rest of the crates going into the cruisers were secure as well, so there wouldn't be an accident.

Capital ship docks, Kinkaku-ji

Yume remained standing at the docks in front of the open cargo bays of the cruiser, where she observed the crates being loaded on board. Vin Chenzo hadn't arrived yet, so she had sent Misaki ahead to fetch him for her. She had told Misaki to put haste behind it.

Embassy quarters, Kinkaku-ji

Out of all people, Misaki wondered why it was she who had been sent to do this little errant. She wanted to see the boxes being moved around and wanted to know what was inside of them. This might be the reason why, she thought. Nonetheless, she felt like she was missing out on something fun so she wanted to go back as soon as possible.

She started knocking on the door, completely ignoring the buzzer right next to it.
"Chenzo-san!"
she started knocking louder when no one opened the door right away.
"I was sent to fetch you! Hurry!"
More knocking.

It was then that she discovered the buzzer next to door and pressed it with her finger and held it there until someone opened up.

The crew of the Dominus had not been docked long. The crew all peering through the windows and zooming in on fine details with the systems standard camera equipment. The Chrysanthemums had indeed been busy. Usually, total discipline would keep the crew emotionless and focussed on the task at hand. Never before had they been in a place of such intricate detail. A perfect blend of form and function, every element more than likely hand crafted by talents few and far between in Sirius. The Gen'an cell was built on honour, trust and respect. Commodities which were also very thin within sirius. There was no other reason for why Chenzo was so honoured to be asked for making their crews combat ready.

A never heard before sound echo's through the Dominus. The crew are startled as they have no idea what was going on, were they under attack? Countless conflicts had battle hardened them, they were not used to domestic interactions.

The ships defence systems camera's zoom in on the alien source to reveal a single Chrysanthemum, her head rolling around with her mouth open, obviously calling out for something

Navigation and comms operative:
"Commander Perez, it's the door bell. I didn't even know we had one of those"

A mutually shared sigh of relief and humour falls over the crew but true to form, they make no sound.

Commander Perez:
Number nine, see to her. I imagine it's time we depart this ship and find a training space to begin summing up exactly what we're here to deal with. Oh, please make her aware that Chenzo will not be here for the initial part of this exercise, we don't wish to alarm them in any way. We will train them exactly as we were trained. Discipline is key.

The designated chef saw to the calling out Chrysanthemum, their conversation brief as the crew follow in single file behind to gather outside the entrance of the docked warship. A path splits through the middle as Commander Perez comes to the front. He bow's before he speaks.

Commander Perez:
Honorary sister, please forgive the time in which it has taken for us to arrive. The crew of the Dominus are ready, at your disposal and and I believe we are to take point on some basic training with regards to manoeuvrability before moving on to more in depth combat scenario's. Your crew's will be at the top with the very best before we are finished. Can you direct us to a space we can work freely to begin training? A space big enough for all of us and the intended crews in one space together?

The crew neither knew how to have fun nor had any exposure to it. They were trained from birth be nothing short of the very best that Maltese space could offer, the very reason Outcasts were feared.

Before Misaki could speak, a Sabre appears out of nowhere, it was cloaked. The crew of the Dominus were not inside the ship and therefore totally oblivious to the alerts coming from the controls. After vision from the crew had locked on to the ship, it was apparent it was Chenzo himself.

He swiftly lands and exits the ship. on approach the crew of the Dominus stand silent and in the positions in which they were stood as if his entrance was entirely normal.

Vin Chenzo bows to Misaki, before speaking.

Chenzo: "Senorita Misaki, I see the crew of the Dominus have arrived and I'm just in time as well. Would you care to lead us to Yumi?"

Chenzo turns to the crew and nods, the crew all nod in unison but make no sound.

Misaki returns the bow and then looks up at Chenzo.

"Hello, I was sent to do that." she said while trying to peek behind him.
"Do you happen to have drinks with you? I sort of collect those. I can trade you a Junyo pearl for it"

She held up the orange coloured pearl in front of him.

Chenzo looks across at Misaki presenting a pearl of the most orange nature, it instantly made him think of Cardimine, the orange dream. He paused for a second as an idea struck him. mere moments later, as he re-gained focus on what was being asked, he looked Misaki directly in the eyes and spoke.

Chenzo: "Senorita Misaki, one must apologise but as far as I am aware, we do not have any intoxicants on board, however I'm sure that Commander Perez has some Gin as they made their way through Bretonia."

He turns to look at the commander.

Commander Perez: "Some may have indeed made it's way on board, Six, fetch a bottle, will you?"

One of the crew makes off with haste back into Dominus, an awkward 30 seconds pass before he returns, bows to Misaki and offers the bottle

Chenzo: "Is this to your taste, Senorita?"

The crew member stands offering the bottle of Gin. The consumption of anything which alters focus was strictly prohibited, however Chenzo was fully aware that humans are weak and driven by motives. As long as it never affected operations, he didn't care what went on.

"Everyone should have booze on board. Else people won't be able to fly properly. Do you know why? If you are drinking, you will be more unpredictable to the enemy. Like you can spill a beer on your console and when you try to wipe it off, you might hit a button that causes an evasive maneuver that could safe your life. Other than that... Oh hey... you do have some."

She hands over the pearl to Chenzo and accepts the bottle, handling it with care.

"I use Gin for cooking occasionally because Hilda showed me how. She also make black forest cherry cake for me. She has all these drones that she uses to transport the cake to my ship when I encounter her in space. Speaking of Hilda... Have you seen her on the way here?"
