Leon Vicci, Starfliers To: All Worlds Enterprises and Securities Subject: Prospects for a new Starflier Base
Greetings, team at All Worlds. My name is Leon and I run the research group known as the Starfliers. We are currently looking into prospects for a new home on the Neural Net and I happened to see that you sell a "Hercules"-Class mobile base building platform, prepared with all the materials needed to setup a modular installation. I have a handful of questions about this, if you don't mind sparing the time.
Thank you for contacting us regarding your interest in our fully loaded base construction ship program! For a time, it was a quite popular project, resulting in AWES having a hand with assisting many base owners get the tools to make their own stations a reality!
However, the program slowed some time back, and while we had the odd request here and there, all ships involved in this endeavor were eventually sold off. Now our inventory of ships for base construction is completely cleared out.
That said, our contacts in the industry still exist, and we could still assemble a package for your faction, as a gesture of support on behalf of our corporation.
Before I get too much further into this - you had questions?
Sincerely,
Eylon de Vados

Leon Vicci, Starfliers To: Eylon de Vados, All Worlds Enterprises and Securities Subject: My questions
Oh, I can understand if the service is no longer one you offer, clients and jobs go up and down, this much I can relate to.
Yes, I did have a handful of inquiries to make. It has been quite some time since I had last flown a "Hercules"-Class... two solar rotations I think. Maybe the features these ships come with have evolved since then. I deployed my first home in Kepler some time back using one of these vessels, happy to see the installation still standing... God, I miss Starflier Base...
Sorry, I don't mean to derail this message. My questions about the service and ship are as follows:
How much for the preparation and transit to Planet Curacao within the Cortez System?
Can the "Hercules"-Class edit subsystems of the base computer upon deployment of the installation?
In case of any errors, are the thrusters on the "Hercules"-Class powerful enough to reposition a deployed base?
These are all great questions and important information to know when ready for base deployment!
Here's some quick answers:
Price for preparation and transit to Cortez: Negotiable!
Can the ship edit subsystems upon deployment: Yes, in fact its vital it's done right away to edit defense modes, docking clearances, and put some credits onboard for the dock master's use!
Can the ship reposition the base after deployment: Typically no, as only those most experienced with the administration of base positioning operations can help using these vessels, but their contracting fees are quite high for these large efforts. Sometimes if you are friendly enough you'll get a 'bump' into a more favorable position for free, but typically when you drop, that's where positioning stops!
Now back to that first item! If you decide to order one of these ships through our office, would you be receptive to create some jump coordinates for our use in trade for the service? Just independent systems, nothing that would breech your ground rules!
Please let us know and we'll proceed based on your response.
Sincerely,
Eylon de Vados

Leon Vicci, Starfliers To: Eylon de Vados, All Worlds Enterprises and Securities Subject: Favourable terms
Your answers do satisfy my inquiries. Seems as though the base builders haven't had a noteworthy upgrade since my last experience with them. In any case, I'd still like to purchase one for the Starfliers to use, as we're preparing for a new home.
Good timing with your proposal, as I have changed the way we obtain Rift-Data recently. So far, our testing show that our processes have improved dramatically. Which systems were you wanting to obtain data for? Bear in mind we don't scan select systems.
We've got a bit of a list created. We'd like at least a point in each local area to keep our transit times minimal for some operations.
Coordinate Wish List:
Tau-29 near Freeport 6
Galileo, F5 area
Omicron Nu, near the Oregon Surveyor / Virginia Jump Gate
Omicron Delta, near Freeport 11
Cologne, near Heisenberg Research Station
Omega-3, near Freeport 1
Cortez, F4 area
On our end, after the base ship is obtained and supplies assembled, where did you need the ship delivered? Did you have a specific regional base in mind for the drop-off point?
Sincerely,
Eylon de Vados

These locations are quite spread out, still... not a problem for our teams to obtain Rift-Data on them. Give us a few days to get these packaged up and sent over on a private channel.
With the "Hercules"-Class... I believe I mentioned to have it transported to Curacao in Cortez, that'll be close enough to it's intended deployment location... hoping all goes well with the locals.

I had the time up my sleeve to go for a fly around Sirius. Made sure to get your order done and one other request. All available on our public server, which I just noticed you signed up for access.
What is the status of the construction platform? Looking over your services, I see you have a cargo hauling department. Would your teams be looking for work too?

Good day Leon Vicci,
Excellent! Our Bustard captain will be excited to put these new codes to use and explore the other public information your server offers!
The base construction ship has been loaded and is ready for pickup in Cortez, on Planet Curacao, as requested. Our default scent for these services is Vanilla Sunset, but I've instructed the crew involved to leave it in the packaging, should you prefer an unscented option. Codes have been transferred, it's all yours - enjoy!
To respond to your cargo hauling question, yes,we still take on mid-size contracts for clients using our own fleet in addition to contracted associates, in many cases.
Please let us know if such services are of value in your new station efforts, when ready. We pride ourselves on timely contract completion, with accurate reporting on shipments and even confidentiality where required.
Sincerely,
Eylon de Vados

The construction platform performed exactly as expected. Very nice work and I thank for you for this service.
As a followup to my last inquiry - about your cargo hauling department - I will have use for this as the modular installation was just deployed recently. I would like to keep this one under wraps too, as you claim you operate with some form of confidentiality. What would it take to have enough resources brought in to complete a shield generator and a simple storage extension? I am happy to pay the entire amount in advance for the service.
