Premise:

As the unofficial center of the Edge Worlds, Omicron Delta has always attracted various factions and independents from the rest of the Omicrons and beyond. Consequently, it's no surprise that many of these people have a vested interest in exploring throughout Delta and expanding their influence there. The system is not only one of strategic geographical importance; it's full of resources and has a habitable planet, Nauru, ripe for the taking. With such prizes on offer, Delta has never been free of war and conflict. The primary offenders for the longest time have been both the Core and the Order, although the Nomads, Corsairs, Outcasts and even Zoners occasionally participated in the conflict as secondary parties. One could say Omicron Delta has become an even larger warzone since the glassing of Toledo -- a reminder of how far humanity's ignorance of the Sector's greatest evil can reach.

In an attempt to get further information on Omicron Delta's more mysterious and remote parts, both the Order and the Corsairs each launched a large force to explore the southeast part of the system. Their goal specifically was to try and get intel from the Tokelau Ice Cloud, which is rumored to have secrets only a few have encountered. They launched from Dabadoru and the Omicron Kappa jumphole respectively, meeting approximately in the middle. As they ventured through space, both parties were fully expecting a hostile encounter somewhere in the war-torn system. Sure enough, Core scouts spotted the Order force moving from Dabadoru and tracked them slowly towards the remote rendezvous location. Both Yaren and Nauru were informed, with even the Outcasts receiving a call to arms to help out their new allies. A strike force was assembled and they departed to meet the enemy fleet head-on in one of the most desolate parts of Omicron Delta.

Regulations:

If you're killed, you're out. No returning to the battle again.

2. No running away from the active battlezone.

Once you leave the fight you're forbidden from rejoining. That includes resupplying. Stay 10k within the battlezone.

3. All loadouts allowed.

Everything is fair game.

4. No running to the NPC stations, asteroids or sundiving.

Events are made to be as fair as possible so do not leave the battlezone to hug asteroids or draw the fight into the sun intentionally.

5. Register your ship name to participate.

Register your ship name, for example writing "oc cruiser" is not sufficient. Non registered ships will be asked to leave. Registering helps us keep the fight fair and fun for everyone.
