Hello, prior to the release of Fire and Fortune there are things players need to do in order to prepare.

• The size of ores will increase rendering most ships "over cargo limit" and unable to log. To avoid this problem please sell your ore.
  
  
• Don't sell armour upgrades.
  
  
• No cargo in hold would be helpful, not essential but be aware problems may appear in some cases.
  
  
• If you have any players in space, docking them is a good tactic to avoid potential problems.
  

This incarnation of Discovery is more than a patch with many fundamental changes based on the hard work and vision of many people. It may not be your vision, there are things that you will probably love and things you will probably dislike, many people hate change. Healthy dissent is an important part of any community but if you feel the need to comment or ask about a particular change or aspect do it respectfully and constructively.

Many will have noticed forum warnings have reappeared, as long as you are being respectful you have nothing to worry about, if not you will notice we are employing, in a general framework, a 3-strikes and then you are out approach. Of course an insta-ban will still be possible if way over the line but in general 3 warnings then a ban is a general yardstick. A warning will exist for a year minimum.

We will also be looking more closely at the linkage between Official Discord - Forum - In game, if civil and respectful then nothing to worry about.

You might want to also suggest that POBs holding large amounts of Ore to reduce their levels.

As the ore will take up 2x the space, this will possibly take the space available on the Base to go in to the negative.

This will mean that they will not be able supply their POBs until the Storage Space once more returns to a positive stance.

Good point however measures will be in place with POB's to avoid problems so it should be fine - Tunicle

Also guys two ships that are getting downgraded to cruiser - IMG BC and Judicator
I have Sci-data BC engines on both, what happens there?

Likely that you'll just need to swap IDs. That's my guess.

Do it just to be safe in your GBs and BCs. Unless they're codes the staff won't restore them if they're lost when ships get patched, and there's a big chance guns may get zeroed, it wouldn't be the first time this happens.
