With a recent poor performance of the Sigma flotilla, Corsair High Command are eager to determine if Rheinland still has softer openings to develop further in the coming months. With enemies and opportunities on all sides, forays into House space should not be done lightly, especially since an easy corridor of attack being permanently closed. While there is some sense in using new routes as yet another rite of passage for pilots and individual captains, there is no sense in committing resources into a situation which is unlikely to pay any dividends.

With the Hessian threat pacified for the time being, at least in the eyes of the public, the Rheinwehr has continued to restructure its forces to focus on being able to reinforce any of its borders from the core of New Berlin. Fortunately for their readiness against another assault, the same ships and crews dedicated to the Dresden blockade are slow to be assigned their station, with even the question on many lips about the need to maintain the same number of vessels. After all, with Munich closed off, Sigma-15 no longer connecting to the Edge worlds, the Hessians still rebuilding, and no major wars on the horizon, the military has never felt a greater chill of peace upon its back. A large war machine takes a while to wind down, and continues to be operational and ever deadly during that process...

Naturally, the Hessians have been far from passive in recent months, and no one is more eager to return to the fight than the commanders of the vessels which repelled the assault of the Strausberg battle group. With a smaller victory sharpening more appetites for combat, Granit is once again ready to take all comers in its backyard, be they the oppresive arm of Rheinland, or foreign invaders with delusions of grandeur. However, with the force dispositions being what they are, the right time to strike is critical, and any over-commitment may set the Hessian post-civil war goals even further down the smelter's gutter.

I will bring my Murmillo; DTR-CNS>Salvador_C. But i can take any corsair ship or my Hessian BS if needed
Also one last thing, i think the zone for the event will be in an area where Rhineland NPC Battlecruiser and cruiser patrolz spawn so that might give them an advantage because the NPC bombers are so annoying to deal with.

As Humphress stated, the chosen area of battle is within range of a RM patrol - 1 BC, 2 GBs and 4 Bombers. This may pose some issues.
