I agree with this, seeing the 30k players number there and then sub 50 online in the server for most of the day can be a little jarring at best and feel like a lie at worst.

People aren't as smart as they like to imagine (as evident by some recent forum stuff by new players).
Avoid setting false expectations like this.

Even that is deceptive. Companies that employ this trick usually still have thousands (perhaps hundreds of thousands in some cases) of players playing across multiple servers. Discovery can't even halfway fill its only server on most days.

Can't do anything now that the feedback period for the build is long gone. I've now left Disco for RL things. Rename it to 30k Installs or remove entirely. You'll have to get Alex to help with whichever. Enjoy the new site
