Good day, "Dirty Joe",

I believe this is the first contact we've had over this comm channel. This is your business partner, Captain Danny "D" Richards.

I'll skip right to the point. I heard that the deal we were discussing has gone sour, and the asset we had the deal closed on has been given to another entity. It's a shame we had it only for mere moments, only to have it plucked away from us at the last minute.

No matter, I suppose we just won’t be trusting this individual to honor his deals in the future. Fortunately this shouldn't effect anything in the long run. We’ll continue on with the plan as we previously discussed, but with a few alterations. It will take a bit more time to get it up and running to be sure, but I think it will be worth it in the end.

For now, I’ve contacted my brother, Hugo Richards. He’s a reputable smuggler with ties to the Junkers. He knows a thing or two about construction projects of this scale and should be able to help us get started.

I'll be sure to stay in touch.
Until then,
Captain Richards out.

So you’re Danny “D” Richards, Aye?!.
My brother has been telling me all about you, he mentioned you might be dropping in.
I see you like to cut straight to the point. I like that, less faffing around and more business talk, unlike my Brother.

Unfortunately, like you heard, the deal I had with an associate of mine didn’t fall through, to hell I've binned his contact information all together, we won't be hearing from him anymore the scum bag, It looks like we will be investing more time into this than we wanted too. It's a good thing you planned ahead.

Huge Richards huh, Well i hope he's more helpful than my Brother, He seems quite fond of you, and he has been eager to get us to meet in person, However I don’t trust easy Mr D. let me know when you hear back from your sibling, the sooner we get this rolling the better, I don’t like to wait around.

Until then I'll be waiting for your call, peace out.

I appreciate your brother's kind words. I share your sentiment in getting this thing up and running as soon as possible. Word is tensions are spilling over between the Corsairs and the Outcasts again in the neighboring systems. Some kind of arms race appears to be going on. Would hate for their little war to interrupt our supply runs. On the other hand, it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. If they get too wrapped up in fighting each other they might pay no mind to our transports. We'll play it by ear for now and adjust our strategy as necessary.

But Hugo Richards, yes… he can certainly be a character. It’s fortunate he’s been frequenting these parts of Sirius on business, lately. I didn’t have to wait long to get him talking with me in person.
The meeting was a bit rough at first. Laughed in my face in a sort “Har har har” kind of way when I proposed this project to him. Said we’ll be, “swarmed by all kinds of buccaneers trying to plunder [our] booty!”
…
For some reason every time I talk to him, he seems to sound more and more like the pirates of old you hear about in those legends from back in Sol. I bet he’s just trying to mess with me.

Anyway, I sweetened him up with the promise of credits; never fails at getting him motivated. He and his crew got serious real quick and got straight to work getting everything ready for the initial phase of the construction project. I wouldn’t be surprised if it starts to resemble the finished product by the time I wake up, that's how confident they seemed.

If you receive word of anymore developments, be sure to let me know. I’ll be keeping tabs on the comm.

Until then,
Captain Richards out.

Hey there Mr D, It's good to hear from you again.

Regarding the ongoing arms race, I’ve been keeping a close eye on both parties involved to make sure we stay out of there spotlight, I’ve even witnessed an OC Bomber rip apart an Corsair Transport, and then a GMG Gunboat blast the OC bomber, GMG are also firing on both sides, It’s best we just keep clear and don’t get mix up in their affairs, Hopefully they will be too focused on each other to pay us any attention.

Hah, Your brother seems like quite a character, Lets just hope he doesn’t jump down that bunny hole. But anyway you can't beat a brother's love, well unless you have a brother like mine, He’s not all that bad I guess.

I’m pleased to hear that they’re taking this job seriously, with everything that's going on in the area the sooner we get it done the better, I hope your brother and his crew don’t cause any trouble for us, Meh I guess only time will tell.

I’ve enlisted the help of a few mining buddies of mine from the old days, They’re trustworthy and they love their transports you wont get any issues from them, If something needs to be moved or done just tell them and they will do it, They will also be bringing some additional heavy machinery for what we need for future use.

Until next time, I hope to see you in person.
Cya soon.

Good day, Joe.

I believe I ran into those mining buddies you mentioned. I certainly wasn’t expecting to see so many Gallic transports making runs to the site. I almost thought they arrived here to commandeer it! You've clearly made some interesting friends over the years, and I gotta say, that certainly is quite an impressive fleet. It will help us out immensely, and that might be an understatement.

On the other hand, I have some slightly bad news. Hugo’s Junker crewmates don’t think they’ll be able to keep up with the large quantity of supplies these ships will be bringing in, and I have to agree with them on that. I’ve let them know to just take their time and to not rush things. I’d rather have this thing completed the right way without a single screw missing and all hull panels secured tightly. The last thing we need is for someone to get spaced because of an improperly assembled airlock, then we end up with a lawsuit on our hands.

Aside from that, not much else to report. Progress is being made at a steady, consistent pace, and I think the bar will be completed soon. Leave it to Junkers to prioritize the bar so early, that definitely wasn’t my doing- *ahem*. Anyway, whenever you’re available, why don’t you meet me there. I think Hugo has some rum he’s been hanging onto. Maybe he can whip us up a few drinks while we talk business.

‘til our next meeting,
Captain Richards out.

Good day Mr D,

I hope my friends weren’t too demanding on their payments for the transports, Haha I told you we don’t like to wait around and getting stuff done quickly is our thing, time is money afterall.

Hmm, I know a guy that might be able to help us with our storage issue, he has a very unique type of vessel with a lot of cargo space, one could even say its a mobile storage module, heh I’ve been after one myself to be honest, until I found out how bad they fly and how much they cost to run, peh.

You’re right about the one thing though, a lawsuit is something we definitely don’t want, I’ll have my guys slow down their deliveries for now. The last thing we want is any corner cutting, just let me know if you need more goods and we’ll get that sorted.

The Bar huh, hah, never could trust a junker to follow orders, always got to do something out of order, but hey i’ll be looking forward to that drink you mentioned.

Talk soon,
Dirty Joe.

Mr. D, are you there!?! This is an urgent matter!.

The calculations we had for the output of the materials were wrong! We’re going to need to source more materials. All my guys are currently cut short on time and the ones who are working overtime are growing tiresome. We may need to enlist the help of some Freelancers or even Zoners. It might be worth putting out a contract and maybe even start to unload some of this stuff. .

I’ll see what i can do from my end, let me know if you figure anything out or if you can tweak the calculations to work in our favor, I’m also running low on funds to pay my guys.

Get back to me soon will ya!
Dirty Joe.

Stay cool, my friend. This is why we are testing our production capabilities beforehand. I’m looking at the calculations now, and I see no issue between what we’re putting in and our estimated output. If anything, we’re benefitting from the fact that we over predicted how much space to allocate for item# 1. This stuff is more compact than I thought.

Though I do agree that It seems like we'll hit a bottleneck with the rate that we can bring more material in, so in regards to outsourcing some of the work I am all for that. Lets discuss this a bit further in the bar and then we’ll throw some feelers out to see who’s interested.

Until then,
Captain Richards out.

Good day, Mr. Joe.
Things have progressed rather quickly, as of late. The advertisement firm we’ve been consulting is putting in the finishing touches on the page that will go on the Neural Net to advertise the station. All that’s left is to stock up some more on materials. I’ll go ahead and open up the station to the public once that page is complete. Maybe we’ll get some attention from the miners in the area.

I'll contact you again through this comm if we decide we can expand a little more.

Until then,
Captain Richards out.
