2.1 - OOC (Out Of Character) chat in Local/System Chat is not allowed.

2.2 - Attacking others without roleplaying first is not allowed.

Consequences:

You're a player who's been around for a while, so you probably thought your memey engagement messages were cute. They aren't.

Take two weeks to go back over the server rules.

I am a returning veteran.
I do as much as possible to play by the rules.
Please provide the evidence for OOC chat - the only OOC I used was last night, when I dropped a PVP DEAD message on system chat so people don't engage me (someone still did) and that was my first ever system message and my first OOC cause I forgot to add //.
As for the 2.2 break, please provide evidence for that as well - "your memey engagement messages were cute" if this refers to my 2 engagement lines with "oinkers" instead of "weapons", I am trying to be funny, since my ships name is Dangerous Piggy (Chanchito-Periculoso), and they are meant to be RP. I have no meme with "oinkers" that I know of.
If I was approached by an admin to change them or getting slapped, Bastilled, etc., I would change them.
If you have any other evidence against me, please provide.

My ships name is "Chanchito-Periculoso" - Dangerous Piggy.
I am not using any meme, insults or trolling messages - unlike other players. I dropped my lines, I am breaking 2.2 with these?
I am trying to do a funny RP.
Does this deserve 2 weeks ban, forum and in game?
An Admin PM, an in game message, a Bastille I would understand, and I would change them if they broke 2.2.

Update:
In the fights that the ship participated, there were staff - admins, moderators and devs - present (FP9 Siege and Omega 3 Spire Siege)
Neither during or after the fights was I approached and informed (proactivity) that my engagement lines are inadequate or can be interpreted as trolling / meme / etc.
The fact that I got banned in game via what I presume to be a report, instead of being approached and informed, for me breaches these guidelines.
The fact that I got banned on Forum - Please provide the evidence for this ban as well - is astounding, since I haven't breached any forum rules.

Large, hectic events aren't exactly places where behavior is going to be easily picked up and proactively worked on. The general assumption is that someone who's been playing for several years should know the general standard of roleplay the server expects, even if it's been allowed to slack recently.

It's something that's necessarily subjective, but the staff felt that this wasn't a light-hearted RP so much as it was either low-effort or trolling, especially given that it's supposed to be coming out of the mouth of a corsair captain. If you understand the issue we took with that, I'm more than happy to cut short the ban with the understanding that changes need to be made.

I am a returning veteran, I returned 3 months ago after a 4 years break, on 11.09.2023 - as seen in my DSAce.
DSCAce Log - This is the full DSAce log of the encounter, a NWI /CPW raid in Theta. As seen, I checked my lines, wrote them, undocked from FP9 and dropped lines during a fight so I can engage. The fight was right on top of FP9 - as all the involved parties can attest.
This should cover the "Veteran" part and "Proactivity" part and testifies that I did everything to ensure I respect the rules of the server.
At the bottom you will see a nice little RP with a Repair Ship. Not much, but the ship got 50K just for trying to repair a BC. The missing timestamps are the docking messages which were edited out.
RP - This is a sample of my RP when I have time and I am not getting shot at.
This should cover the "Low Effort RP" part.
As for Trolling - you have access to the entire DSCAce. Who am I trolling? Where is the intention to harm/insult/demean/bully/offend anyone?
Those are the RP engagement lines of the Captain of that ship. They are not addressed to anyone but the weapons of that ship. Maybe I am trying to RP a captain who's a little bit off his rocker? Too much time in the Omicrons will do that to you.
Do I need to validate my RP with Staff?
Do as you like with the Ban.
It has ABUSE written all over it.
