I had a problem like this when I first got my 42" monitor. Just play with the resolutions and what not, eventually the text will return to normal, it worked for me anyway.
i don t really know how those files work. - but you may copy paste what i wrote ( the content of the file ) - put it into a .txt file - and name it "fonts.ini" ... then you might just rename your original fonts.ini into _fonts.ini for safekeeping.
copy the new one with the pasted text into the folder and see if it works. - i do not know if my original fonts file looked like a binary, too - i just copy / pasted the one with the adjusted fontsize over it. - if it does not work ... i cannot help you any further. - there s no need to Email the file, as the whole content is pasted here now, and all you have to do is to put it into the file.
