The Jupiter guild is a zoner affliated group of Mercenaries and traders that has chosen to stay independant from every other coorperation and mercenary outfit. Over the years it has grown to become a Large and powerfull player on the mercenary market and in the transport sector.
Our history in short
The Jupiterguild was created by a group of ex officers of the Liberty navy prior to the nomad war. They started a small time mercenary outfit that operated in kusari and the borderworlds. With second hand ships and small time jobs they grew slow but steadily.
The real growth came when the Wildcards Mercenary outfit Joined the Jupiterguild. The numbers almost doubled and they grew more rapidly, getting more and more highpaying jobs. The freetrade Federation, another escorting outfit joined the group and as such they had acces to high paying escort jobs.
This growth did not go un-noticed to some independant traders and as such an arrangement was quickly made for them to use the tag as long as they supported the guild financially.

Shortly before the war between Bretonia and the Kusari house erupted we moved our Headquarters from Roppongi base in tokyo orbit to Planet Gran Canaria in Omega 49. This strategic move ensured our neutrality and the security of our operations throughout Sirius.
We where contacted by the zoner counsil to assist them in the defence of freeport 11 against nomad assaults. Being succesfull in this operation we signed a long term contract to assist in the defence of all zoner bases throughout sirius against any hostile actions from anyone, thing and or group.
The terms of this contract:
Assist any and all zoner ID'ed vessel in distress
Protect and serve all zoner bases that come under attack and or have a high possibility of attack.
Police the no hostilities zone around zoner bases in times of conflicts to ensure the neutrality of the zoners.
In return we got:
Full operating and basing right on all zoner bases throughout sirius aswell as the right to call our Guild a true zoner guild.
Who are our members?
Our members come from all walks of life and all kinds of backgrounds. Still many Ex-navy members join our ranks from all 4 major houses, since we have our Headquarters on Gran Canaria a lot of Ex zoner patrol pilots have joined our ranks in search for action but we also have a small minority of Operatives straight from the borderworlds.
Our science division
The Jupiterguild sponsors a small crack team of scientists, these are tasked with designing new technology for the guild. One of their latest breakthroughs(if not the only) Was the Aritificial inteligence module for the heavy support units(gunboats). Currently 3 of these units fly under the Jupiterguild flag

A group of veterans of the Jupiterguild tasked with the leading and maintaining of the guild.

Officers of the guild
These members have a coordinative role in the field and often a special task such as intelligence anaylist or store keeper.
Member of the guild
These are the backbone of the guild and our basic rank. All of these members have served a while with the guild before becoming a member.
Probationary member of the guild
These are the new recruits that have joined the guild recently. They are often under direct suppervision of an officer or full member.
What does the Jupiterguild fly?
We fly a variety of ships, most of wich are civilian or independantly build.
Our primary fighter is the Raven Talon.
We currently do not have a primary bomber but there is a specifix model on the drawing table currently
Our Heavy support unit is the Independant miners gunboat but we are waiting for lividia shipyard to supply us with the new zoner model.
The Jupiterguild zoner fleet
The jupiterguild currently operates 3 zoner capitol ships for heavy defensive purposes and special operations.
The KOMODO
A purpose build ship that is currently our flagship, it is a ship of the dreadnaught class.
The Volcanos and The Tibertus
These sisther ships are both based on Planet Gran Canaria and serve as a last line of defence and responce force in case of any emergency in the area.
THe Jupiterguild elite traderwing(IC)
The Jupiterguild has an elite traderwing that has been hired by Interspace commerce to do some of their logistical work. These traders are handpicked by the wing commander Roadrunner and are known for their Speeding tickets and Evasion tactics. Escorts hate flying with them because they are way to fast(no seriously... those guys know speed(// within the limits ofcourse))

The total neutrality does NOT work in Discovery. Another Merc faction, the [M] can clearly show that, by working for some, we became hostile to others. It is IMPOSSIBLE to be fully neutral with ALL factions.
At the eyes of most persons,,, you'll be considered OORP.

I can't count the number of times you engaged us in Liberty and then came back begging to be allowed to fly in our space.
You now have to choose with who you shall align yourself. Best could be to ally with those that the [M] hunts (Corsairs, mollies, AFA/KNF, CR, etc), thus making some kind of Merc vs. Merc conflict.

PS: How do you guys still remain alive?!?! You nearly don't have any contracts.
If you guys want to use Corsair technology, could you please contact me to arrange a formal arms deal in exchange for certain services. I cant endorse the use of Corsair-made equipment without getting something in return, and it needs to be formally recognised by the powers that be within the Corsair nation. Of course, we dislike seeing Outcast equipment on your ships too, and you will probably have to choose to align between either side depending on what equipment you wish access to.
My actual feedback is one of great respect though. I respect the Jupiter guild very much so for their efforts to get TBH and AW to come to the negotiating table, though as predicted, negotiations fell by the wayside soon enough. Admittedly, that episode was only conducted with one member of the JG, Pipsqueak I think, but nonetheless he earnt my respect.
That'd probably be awkward McNeo, as the delegated would have Outcast tech mounted when they come asking for permission to use the Corsair tech they already have :laugh:
True, but if the offers didnt go through, I would assume that the JG would have to drop the Corsair equipment that they use. Other official factions go through with official arms deals, I dont see why JG should be any different.
why are the JG allowed to use infernos/kraken 2s and colodas/salamanca on their mercs, while working for people such as the LN and LSF, yet when i used an inferno/SN combo on proserpine, i had a near trial by forum about it?

also, i suggest sticking to the BH bomber as the standard issue bomber, like you got the R talon as the standard issue fighter.
We are currently working on some of the things you have been asking or commenting on and I will try to respond to some of these issues.
For instance our Stance and equiptement deal. We have a deal with the corsair Benitez familia, they deliver us arms and we deliver services they wish in return for that. Very recently we have been involved in shipments of food, medical supplies and a special delivery of "tools" and in a somewhat earlier days we have been doing some out of boundary assisinations for the benitez familia. (However we are restricing corsair weaponary to a maximum of 2 per ship)
Our stance is thus somewhat more Hostile towards the outcast and their allies then to the corsairs. This does restrict our gear(// and this is being fixed as we speak). We are not warmly welcomed in omicron alpha and beta and we know that, we avoid that space as much as we can.
The use of the Bounty hunter bomber was an emergency , we used to have a deal with the rheinland military to use their bombers but since the current emerging of the conflicts between liberty and rheinland we had to switch that to remain neutral in this conflict. The Taiidan bomber, the Civilian bomber and the bounty hunter bomber are being used mixed at the moment until the raven talon series bomber will be ready for full production(work in progress).
We are getting enough jobs to stay alive as we are not your traditional mercenaries, we fly more escorts then any other mercenary outfit and we have a small customer circle that also does all of their bounties via us.
Oh and don't forget out trade outfit(//JG's tagged with a T or an IC at the end).
Mister Hawk, we always make shots of our clients and commisioners when we are talking about bounties if they come in via the comm systems.
