Hey. It's been awhile. I just wish I was here to make Sol happy and continue the Jeanne D'Arc SRP I've left sitting in the Dreadnought Drydock for years. But I'm not.
On June 19th, Apdaf was informed through @Shizune 's discord account that he suddenly, and unexpectedly, passed away Friday, June 14th. I've been in a very fragile state ever since then. Shizune was one of my closest friends since 2012. Twelve years. He was eccentric and strange and unapologetic. He did a lot of strange things but in the end, he was one of my closest friends, and one of the reasons I still look upon this place with fondness. He was open with everyone about Asperger's (His diagnosis) and other such disorders, like ADHD and DSPD (Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder, or Night Owl Syndrome). He loved WoW PVP but only really stayed with the game because his WoW Guild was so amazing.
They are. I let them know, and they were nothing but kind and caring and heartbroken.
I don't really know what else to type. I just wanted to let others who cared know, if they haven't been informed.
Please take care of yourselves, everyone. Check in on friends. Let them know how much they mean to you.
Oh damn, that sucks. I know Shizune had a lot of issues and a bad reputation for retconning roleplay, but damn. Actually one of the first people I got to roleplay with, he was playing his character Yuki Hideyoshi back in those days, doing shady stuff with Order and Wild.
Shizune was a good guy at heart and one of the first friends I made here. Really sad to hear about his passing...may he rest in peace and dear wishes to his family..

If I recall correctly he was one of the first on this server I actually became friends with and we remained that way quite some time back between 2010 to 2017 when I was most active. It's sad to see him go, but I'm happy for the years we had known each other and spent far too many hours bullshitting and building characters together in and out of the server. I'll never forever flying around with my character Azumi Tomoko and his, Aika Ryo just zipping around finding places to get into trouble and seeing the sights.
