I like the inclusion of PoBs into the event though, that's pretty novel tbh

Just another Aingod coding innovation. Options for launching trade events from PoBs were listed in the event config previously, but... didn't actually do anything. As in there was no actual code that they were pointing to. So Aingar went and made it work, so now we can have trade events starting or ending on PoBs. It's pretty cool.

So basically Dublin is a meatgrinder, and the Gaians are trying to skirt a tightrope between Corsairs and Mollys. They're not on good enough terms with anyone to send in forces or even smugglers. The previous PvE event included them because they could raid targets of opportunity with the BAF out in force, which they have done.

I would consider what's possible now that Bretonia's attention is focused on Dublin.

Why would the IMG support the BMM in this event they're competitors and Mollys are allies

Because they're a lawful corporation that's already on thin ice with Bretonia. Working with BMM earns them both big bucks and possibly rebuilds at least some degree of a positive reputation with the population and the government.
