Honestly guys - I don't have to tell you what's wrong with the head of the mod publlicly saying things like this in the public discord. I'd very much appreciate if you can address this. We are trying to make the game more welcoming to beginners, invest a lot of time only to read this in public :/

Start by following the rules yourself.

Start by not just taking in new players and letting them loose, but by actually teaching them the game. We're lenient with sanctioning new players, but when your faction has abnormally high representation in violation reports that's not a sign that you're doing your job well.

You are not the victim. It is a role you play well, and I'm sure there's a tiny fraction of the community that falls for your spectacular clown act, but sometimes people just run out of patience.

I'm not particularly well-equipped to respond to your feedback because I don't tend to do much if any player request processing. When I do, I tend to send a quick forum PM to the requestor's forum account. I would encourage administrators to do so. It's a simple little step, and I imagine people are simply forgetting to do it rather than choosing not to do it deliberately.

We've probably invested more time into new players over our existence than anyone else besides DTR - I hope you realize that you represent the mod publicly, to go insulting factions comprised of fun players and beginners like that is just not right.

I don't see eye to eye with you, Touché- you mute me, fine. You try get me banned - well I sort of expected that. But please don't take it out on factions like 1st publicly where other people do a lot of work and I sadly haven't even had the time to be involved actively this year. Think about how it looks please ...

investing time into teaching the new players how insignificant roleplay is? how to abuse loopholes in the rules? how to efficiently metagame and powergame without triggering the greencoats who barely care to do anything about this sort of behaviour? you've done a great job in that regard, I have to say. See this is your personally biased opinion, and you can have that - the difference is you are not the head of the mod acting in official capacity in the Official Discovery Discord - I hope you can see the difference
