Premise:

(This event is following a series of diplomatic talks over the last few months, which have taken place both in-game and here on the forums. There will be several parts to this, taking place in other areas to stir up some activity in various regions)

In an effort to both strengthen their diplomatic foothold within Rheinland, and bolster their own forces with rising tensions on the home front, The Technocracy and The Platform launch a joint operation to relocate two assets from the Independent Worlds into the Omegas, utilizing the corridor in Omega-55. The size of the vessels is likely to draw attention, and rightly so - the sensor network left over to watch traffic in the area is tripped, and a response is inbound to intercept.

The Platform and Auxo scramble escort ships to dissuade pursuit. The Elbe and Osiris take cover in the Guerrero Asteroid Cloud. Should the escorts fail, information about the operation is spread regionally, and their movement will be delayed.
