I've greatly enjoyed this event, I've had some awesome pvp and roleplay I wouldn't have otherwise gotten, complete with lots of laughs and funny new rotasig fodder. I know there were a lot of hard feelings exchanged between some participants, but I've been fortunate enough to not have gotten directly involved in that and I'm seeing efforts at de-escalation already happen, so on the whole I think this event has been a good thing.
A big thanks to the staff team for putting it on, and for stepping in when they needed to.
One question to ask, since it's the first time I've done so - how do I redeem a reward? File a Player Request, or do we wait until the admins make a concluding post, or?

Cogratulations to the defenders for securing the winning leaderboard! They will receive 400 sci data, split across all characters according to their contribution to the total score.
I have outlined the alien material winners below based on currently available information. Please list all characters you played under one leaderboard if you believe you exceeded these numbers. I will be updating this as time allows. (note that the final scores may be higher due to me working with an outdated score backup. Details here)
So it would not have put my into first, but I wanted to point out that something is clearly off about the PvE point count. A quick look at both my DSACE.log and in-game kill count (On the Player Status tab, Only killed event NPCs in Inverness during the event, comparing pre-and-post event.) shows 205 points for Order|Foxtrot-9. Not 84.
Again, makes no difference for me, and likely makes little difference to the event outcome overall, but still thought I'd mention it.
Based on the PvE numbers, we have an outdated event tracker backup.
I don't think this will greatly affect sci data rewards, but it may be wrong about who actually got first place on each leaderboard. If you would like to claim first place, please pm me your total based on ctrl+f'ing the event reward message, and I'll update the entry.
