Is it possible the Vandal missiles don't do any hull damage?
They take down shields but do no hull damage.

in multiplayer, after a player has their shields downed, they have a brief moment of hull invulnerability, afaik.

that's not the case.

what you're thinking of is the shield overkill mechanic (where if you hit ALL shots together, it will delay the rebuild time because of additional damage going over it)

Which is why you need to chainfire shots.

No I tested it on NPCs. Missiles take down the shields but do no damage at the hull.
A small fighter did't receive any hull damage after shields were down, regardless how much missile hits he received after that.
This morning everything worked well. After the hot fix (server restart) this didn't work anymore.

And yes, I tried it both launchers at the same time and firing one by one.

even after more than 50 missiles, no effect.

Yeah, I just tested them on a few NPCs. They're really not dealing any damage whatsoever to hull. A clear case for a bug report.

In only two patches they re-added slavery but with a different name. (the prison pob production)
