Sadly there's no station in SP where you can get some of them. The Ake, and Ikazuchi are in Bastille but the others I can't seem to find anywhere. Would be nice to test them before committing to the purchase. ^^'

Once the three ship limit is gone I guess all the unpurchasable ships can be put on one station

to make a unpurchasable ship purchasable:
  1. Create a copy of your discovery instalation;

  2. In that installation:

  3. Open DATA/EQUIPMENT/market_ships.ini

  4. Find (ctrl+f) the station you want to add or replace the ship with. New Haven works.

  5. Add the "marketgood" element under the station's [BaseGood], ex:

    Code:
    [BaseGood]
    ;%name = New Haven Station
    base = li06_05_base
    marketgood = co_battlecruiser_heavy_package, 1, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1

    for the Consul.

  6. In singleplayer, go to the station and buy the ship as normal.


You can find a ship's package by looking around in goods.ini. If you want to know a ship's package, opening up FLstat and identifying its internal nickname is a good hint.

Do not join multiplayer servers with modified installations
