Roleplay laws with regards to licensing will be affected by the two following policy changes:

-SHIP licensing may not be done by subscription model.
POBs might be big enough to allow for subscriptions where people can stomach them, but the current state of player run governments does not support the type of infrastructure required to maintain subscriptions for player ships.

-Heavy Frigates, such as the Bulwark, the Longhorn, and subsequent ships that will be coming out in that class are to be treated as a generic transport class and will not be subject to regulation on that basis.
Future developments can be discussed as they come, but the intended implementation was for said class to be considered in the same vein as regular frigates or battle transports which are not subject to regulation.

In the coming days, we will be going through each roleplay law collection and making changes to conform to these new policies. Players representing governing bodies that employ the aforementioned regulatory practices that are no longer permitted are urged to join us in discussion in the relevant main discord government channels.

What? that we as polizei can enforce laws according to the Bulwark, Longhorn, and subsequent ships? ...
What you refer to "subscription ship model"
More specifically this:

Code:
but the current state of player run governments does not support the type of infrastructure required to maintain subscriptions for player ships.

Man what i can understand on your notice mean, all our player RP isn't gonna take an effect? ... then i don't see the puporse of such "Battle Transport" when one cannot fill licencing and RP with it in a nice manner, it is a RP server, please follow regulations on house goverments and let people have fun doing RP ... after all, isn't supposed to be RP 24/7? :3
Your admin notice will barely hit any ideas to bring RP about such "new kind of ships" for the lore ...
if that is the meaning then, making an SRP have no reason to be, and all players should be able to play with whatever ship they want using whatever ID they like ... but by bringing "licences" and "subscriptions" are actually for some of us, an RP Improvement to actually do erhm... Role-Play in a Role-Play server ...

After all just admins ruining the fun of RP in a RP 24/7 server ... nice ...

And so shall they fall, all who bear our mark. No matter who they are, no rank, nor title, nor power shall shield them. When the mark finds them, their time is nigh.

Great that Longhorns and others are no longer need Licenses. What about Ships Like the Bustard and the Amaterasu? The Firepower and Effect is similar to Frigattes. Also, what do you mean by a Subscription Model? Do you mean that you have to Pay again Once a Year?

There was a subscription scheme we looked at that was pay several mil every few months - it was not a direction that we wanted the server to go, especially since even just regular requests tend to get backlogged by weeks.

Bustard and the Amaterasu are in no way even resembling a distance remotely similar to close to frigates by any metric other than cruise speed, are not considered generic ships, and aren't exactly being planned as a commonly used ship for trading - so no, those will still be under the purview of government regulation.

Thx for the Clarification. Another Question is whether there be a Refund Planed for those who already had to pay these Subscription Fees. Orbital paid 5 Million to KuGov for a Lifetime License of the Longhorn that is no longer necessary.

PS: that's a lot of money that is now down the Drain for Nothing.

Governments should refund the license fees for Longhorn and Bulwark registrations - please handle those on your own and let us know if any refuse.
