To whom it may concern,

I'm now-Special Constable Beurling. With my formal transfer to the CDI, I've discovered the disappointing (but probably expected) fact that the BPA has abruptly withdrawn from any and all maintenance contracts with them. This wouldn't have been a problem if it weren't for the fact that I had a requisitioned "Crusader" superiority fighter in my possession since my time at Scotland Yard, which I had asked to be transferred with me.

I'm therefore asking if the Armed Forces might be able to allocate some of the surplus to keep it well oiled and in working order. We have the hands, but we are very short of supplies and tight on budget. Any assistance in this matter would be appreciated.

Yours sincerely

This is taking an unreasonably long time to give the verdict on approving request for a single superiority fighter. Just the reason I hate all that red tape that's getting stuck if a single gear in the system is missing or broken.

Would be great if you'd make haste with this. Expected you'd know better how to treat your veterans who haven't kicked the bucket or were left with a missing limb or two.

Yours insincerely

Special Constable Elizabeth Frederica Beurling,

your request for parts and other materials for maintenance of a "Crusader" superiority fighter has been APPROVED. The Armed Forces logistics division on Sprague will receive an amount sufficient to keep your ship spaceworthy for three years with the next regular convoy. You can pick them up in about two days from now. As you are not in active service in her Majesties Armed Forces the rest is up to you.

On behalf of the Board,

Captain William Briggson
Secretary to the Board
Bretonian Armed Forces
