Morning Jim

I fished something interesting out of the constabulary patrol reports today. One of your lads doing something he very much ain't supposed to be doing in Manchester. Might well be we spotted a Pilgrim full of, shall we say, industrial solvents headed towards Liberty.

I'm keeping this material off the net for now, but it would be a mite terrible if this were to resurface in the hands of say, a Chief Inspector who don't understand the need to build rapport with the local community. The need to get along and do business. Because I think we can do business, right?

There are certain things we need that you can get for us, things that make this evidence vanish. We've had a good deal with Trafalgar in the past, and we all know there are certain nods, winks and agreements that keep the whole post-war situation ticking over.

Let me know if you're willing to do the sensible thing and we can deal with this quietly.

Signed

Blackbird

Merry Christmas and a Happy New 835!

Blackbird,

Most unfortunately for you Jim is currently out on holiday for the time being, as a result you will be dealing with myself.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Rick Tiltman Arbiter of the Junker's Congress. I have to say impressive footwork not many people can say they have ever spotted a Junker smuggling, let alone a member of Congress so kudos to you. You are correct it would be terrible if this went public while I am not particularly thrilled with the idea of the one being on the backfoot during negotiations It seems I do not have much of a choice.

You have my attention little bird, now what do you want?

Rick Tiltman,
Arbiter

Arbiter Rick. Well, ain't this unexpected. Looks like my wee message went right to the top of the food chain.

I suppose that means Congress is taking this very seriously indeed. Like I said, I know you fellas have connections that can get me and mine certain things we need but can't access.

Specifically, what we're looking for are Black Market Munitions, straight from New Berlin - 4,295 units. Certain requirements though. Side Arms for personal protection, high lethality. No serial codes. No biometric locks or controls. Minimal traceability.

Get this shipped to Unit 4528, Spaceport Warehouse Complex 03, Wharferdale City, Aberavon, Planet Sprague. Once we've confirmed receipt, the evidence disappears and your man is free in the wind.

If this goes well, we might have something a bit more equitable for you in the future.

Signed
