This is Konstrukteur Grimwald of Weiss Shipping, I am establishing this vox channel on a different matter compared to the currently ongoing exchange in regards of charts procurement.

As the engineers and myself are currently going through our flock of vessels that exist in Sirius space many of which have outdated modules for navigation, a display of a long road of manual updates in terms of physical hardware and firmware alike. While working on the affected systems I came across multiple cases of data miss-alignment in regards to inter-sector connectors, to humour you I will list some below.

Other connectors swapped in stability factor, changing routes. There is plenty of outdated files on my table.

What I ask of you is not additional cartography or expeditionary work but theoretical prediction based on your experience.

If I consider the part of history of Starfliers that I am familiar with, you should have amassed considerable amounts of scientifical data in various shapes. If I go just by possibility there has to be some sort of factor-array behaviour in regards to warp distortions known as Jump Holes that decides when aforementioned changes state or location of connection. States being commonly described as stable, unstable or closed. Location being the A/B inter-exchange of two places aligning to create the tunnel effect. Again, your assumed field of work lies within observing the Sirius sector.
So I ask Starfliers; Is it possible to predict possible future behaviour of the space time distortions known as Jump Holes if you look at the past behaviour?

Observing Jump Hole connections and see if or when they destabilize, collapse or abruptly intertwine with another tunnel to form a new connection. This is something we have only extremely brief experience with, as we have previously examined and studied a Jump Hole created by a researcher from Rheinland. This now is but a speculation of my own:

hypothesis

A warp field distortion romanticised fields as a space time collapse. Often also working with mass spectrum. Putting a theoretical array on this you arrive at A1(Stability;Location) to describe what is needed to arrive at a point that sustains existence of the field distortion. If variable array A1 describes existing even in unstable fluctuation stance you would find a second set of requirements for connection. Let's call it A2(Direction).
When 2 individual instances of A1 happen to sustain the requirements for longer manifestation it is possible that their A2's align to create a tunnel connector effect. Assuming A1 and A2 are products of the environments there is bound to be a system factor or array that sets the rules for what can manifest in the current state and what can't.

This is but mere assumptions going into the realm of obscurum.

Your extensive past work could be able to display similarities in cases of connectors stopping to work, redirecting their connection or manifesting. This leads back to my initial statement of this message: You and your people are doing God's work.

I would like to think that we achieve great feats with the small specialized fleet we operate, but to call it "God's Work" is an exaggeration. Sorry, I digress. I'd like to inform you that we do have a shortage of pilots that can utilize our Multi-Purpose Research Vessels. The same vessels that are capable of reading Jump Hole pathways. Once we have an available pilot, I'll get them out there to gather the data requested. If this fails, I will do it myself.
