Unfortunately I bring dire news. Our forward operatives have obtained intelligence that Omicron Mu, specifically Fort Carthage, will soon be under assault by infected forces from Kusari. The infection has spread to the point where at least large parts of KOI itself is under the influences of the Nomads. While we are mounting a defense, it seems only right to inform you so you can bring your people to safety. On that note I unfortunately have even more bad news. We have also obtained intelligence that Cairo Station in Omicron Zeta will likewise be under attack soon, albeit from the Core and their new AI puppets. As you may be aware Cairo station is essentially a frontline base, monitoring the entrance to Nomad space proper and plays a vital role in tracking and identifying infected pawns. Needless to say this timing is too 'convenient' to be a coincidence.
This means however that there is a very limited window to evacuate and not all routes are available.
Any assistance you might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated, however we understand fully if you decide to withdraw before the shooting starts.

Admiral,
Richter here. Dire news indeed.
We don't have a lot of connections in Kusari, certainly not the kind that would share this kind of intel, so that's the first I hear of this infiltration situation.
I suspect you're right about the timing being no coincidence, but that raises some disturbing questions. Carthage is an incredibly well fortified target, which leads me to believe the Cairo attack was planned first, and this taken as an opportunity by the alien forces for their own assault plans. That suggests that at best, the alien possesses a high level of intel, or even infiltration of the Core. At worst, it suggests active cooperation, in which a combined plan was formed in which Cairo is the main target, and the Carthage assault intended to bind forces in Mu.
In any case, I'll keep the Erdbeben in the region and ensure maximum combat readiness. Evacuating Memphis is out of the question, we are committed to our allies and have invested too much in the region.
I'll see what other forces I can divert but realistically, it's not going to be much. I'd also suggest contacting the Phoenix if you haven't already, I'm sure they'd be willing to assist.
