Who remembers this? I always thought it was a very pretty ship. I was wondering there is even the slightest chance it will ever make a comeback, if not as a Corsair ship, then as a civilian ship? The horns make it really Sair though, they also make it really pretty imo....

Does anyone still have the model?

I liked the overall model of this ship. Or at least how it looked from this profile. It'd be cool to reintroduce it one way or another

At a glance it looks like it doesn't slot in quite as neatly with the rest of the Corsair line as other Discovery additions, which I personally dislike a little bit as I think it's cool when it's hard to tell -- at a glance -- where "Freelancer" ends and where "Discovery" begins in terms of models.

ModDB has some very old Discovery versions, odds are it can be recovered from there if we wanted to.

It wouldn't hurt to introduce this as some sort of follow-up to what the Ghoul is (Edge Worlds Light Fighter - Heavy Fighter hybrid, I think? It was a hybrid of sorts, thats all I know). The concept of that one was cool enough and I'd like to see another hybrid of the sort. Either as another Edge Worlds version or something for the Independent Worlds. Discarded Corsair model that found its way on the black market.

Iirc this was in 4.85, I'll check my files when I get home pretty sure I have a copy floating around still
