Due to a lack of a clear commanding officer, I am reporting directly through the previous contact link. Iito-Kaii Kazu Chidori, report on Heaven's Gate opperations:
When the Battlecruiser Akatsuki returned to drydock for refit, I was transferred to Fukuoka Border Station to continue the patrol of the Tau systems. No further events with the rogue Battlegroup Auxesia happened, hence a lack of reports on that front. Due to this command, I was redirected to Heaven's Gate in Tohoku to defend against Blood Dragon and Order incursions. That operation was largely successful, and for reasons I am unsure of, the KNI was dissolved immediately after. As I was no longer a direct asset to the KNI, the Akatsuki was under refit and I had no standing orders from that battlegroup, my assignment to the Tau patrol was dissolved with the KNI as it was a KNI order, and I had no assignment to Fukuoka as it was a police command post, not a Naval Forces one, I had no post to return to. I defaulted to Heaven's Gate at Tohoku, and joined in low-level perimeter patrols there as to not be disruptive to KOI operations.
Today, I received a general KOI dispatch, despite my status as a Naval Forces Officer, commanding support for the Battleship Hakodate in Mu. I immediately complied, and was met with a rather disastrous scene. An assault was being carried out on a high-value Order asset, a drydock named Carthage. This elicited a, lets say, "reasonable reaction". The Hakodate and our forces were swarmed by a multitude of capital assets. My tactical analysis is that this target is a weak spot for the Order. If it fell, the Order would be summarily crippled. However, the Hakodate and accompanying forces were not nearly enough to break the guard on the station, though at times they seemed to be distracted, and often arrived to combat from the south of the system.
The Hakodate fell in this assault, and my Kaibyo was severely damaged too. I am not privy to KOI internal communications, so I cannot give any reports on total damage. I was recovered near the unstable Jump Hole, as my eject system failed and I was stuck within my ship wreckage with an EVA suit, included for these situations. I have attained only very minor lacerations, and will be fit for redeployment.
Due to the paperwork limbo my orders and assignments have been stuck in, I await assessment and redeployment at Heaven's Gate in Tohoku.

Your participation in Operation Ōame has been dully noted. We are glad to see that you have survived this disaster piece of a KOI operation mostly unscathed. In fact, as surviving witness directly involved in the frontline operations, you are a most treasured witness. Please find yourself at Narita Station as soon as possible, we should talk your next assignments over in person. Someone will show you the way once you've arrived.
