I know to say we haven't always seen eye to eye would be an understatement but over the years the Order and Liberty have, at least unofficially, mended some bridges. Thanks to that our organizations have worked together on occasion to prevent the Nomads from spreading. Allow me to be candid; We have received intelligence that the heart of the Order will soon be targeted by infected forces hailing from Kusari. The infection has spread to the point where, at the very least, large portions of KOI have come under the command of the Nomads and their sympathizers. They are currently preparing an assault spearheaded by the IKN HAKODATE. We intend to defend ourselves and have called upon local allies to assist us in battle against the Nomad threat.

Perhaps this news will bring some of you joy, there is, afterall, a good chance you may not hear from us again in the near future.

We will try and set up a broadcasting signal to inform you of all the infected personnel that show up at the battle, though I cannot guarantee the Nomads won't detect and block the signal.

God speed to all of you, I pray Liberty will fare better than Kusari.

Hail admirals and directors.

I am pleased to inform you we were able to fight off the infected assault in Omicron Mu, the Hakodate has been destroyed along with the attackers.
Unfortunately we suffered a simultaneous attack in Omicron Zeta by the Core. It seems they were eager to show off their new AI toys, broadcasting a field demonstration of their assault on an Order installation in the system. With most of our defenders occupied at Omicron Mu, our local station only had a skeleton crew to defend it.
The Core managed to damage Cairo, however the defenders were able to overcome their assault and inflict heavy damage on Capetown in retaliation.

Normally this wouldn't be considered that far out of the 'norm', to say the Order and Core fight frequently is paramount to saying space is cold and water being wet.
However this time was very different, normally the Core have the sense to keep their greed-filled actions behind some thinly veiled imitation of stealth or grace. This time they were recording and broadcasting their 'AI marketing stunt'.

During the fighting the Core's AI units went rogue and, now led by the AI enhanced flagship Mars, began slaughtering Core pilots left and right. While this made our lives easier initially, allowing us to pick off the remaining Core after the Mars had left, the broadcasting has drawn the attention of the Nomads.

Order intelligence has picked up a large Nomad fleet approaching, with Cairo as damaged as it is we will not be able to defend it, evacuations are already on their way.
Likewise Capetown has suffered significant damage during our counter assault, and the AI's onslaught after, making its destruction all but assured as well.

Omicron Zeta will fall to the Nomads and with it the gate to Nomad space. We will no longer be able to monitor the gate to keep track of infected at all times. Omicron Delta will be extra vulnerable and by proxy so will Omicron Minor and as a cherry on top the AI Mako, the Mars, is now free to cause havoc and do god knows what unsupervised or opposed.

For now we will focus on the evacuation of Cairo and rebuilding our strength, any assistance be it supplies or scouts in Omicron Minor, would go a long way.

Also be careful around the Core, I'm fully aware that anything coming from the Order about the Core is taken with a grain of salt but a perfectly coordinated attack with infected forces, combined with AI experimentation and luring in the Nomads all in one assault? One doesn't need to be clarvoyant to see something is seriously wrong.
