To Whom it may Concern,
My handle is Dash Nine, you can just call me Nine for brevity's sake. I've heard a lot about your gang through the circles I used to run with under my former identity. I find myself in need of your extensive network as mine was scrubbed when I was forced to compile a new identity to escape some rather...dangerous entities. Me reaching back out to those contacts would alert those entities to my whereabouts and could cause considerable problems for myself...which is where you and your girls come in.
I've picked up some chatter on a possible Obsidian fighter in the Newcastle system that is ripe for boosting. The problem is the info I have is out of date and awfully suspicious, it seems almost too good to be true. Reports have it docked at Shetland in Newcastle with a healthy amount of data onboard it's systems that would not only benefit the Hackers cause but could make an interested party considerably wealthy. What I'm after is the fighter, the data is of no concern to me this time, so you and your girls could scrape that data off the ship and either sell it for a large score or utilize it for yourselves should it prove valuable enough to do so. Meanwhile, I would take the ship for my own purposes, recode the transponder, IFF data, and registration codes with some "lost" registration keys and keep it as my own.
What do you say, are you interested? You can find me at this node awaiting a response. We could meet at Barrier Gate to discuss further if you would like as well (//forumlancing post). Once we've confirmed the op, this channel will corrupt from my personally curated version of the "n128.starstruk.mtn" worm to prevent anyone from finding out we were responsible for its theft. Let me know.

Yo yo Nine! Went for that hard reset, eh. I getcha, I getcha, not uncommon in our circle either. Name's Chloe, I do a lotta the talky work for the girls.
Know plenty of girls who'd love to boost a premium ride like that even if just for kicks, tho as the responsible admin that I am I'm telling ya, if that info of yours is bogus we're keeping that Obsidian for ourselves!
Tho I do want more deets, what's your intel say about what's on that ship? Any info on its soon-to-be-previous owner? I got a pretty good idea how this kinda op would go down, especially if it's OSC, but intel can change that, yea.

Hey Chloe. Yeah, the big fat reset button. Our line of work requires that be used quite frequently unfortunately. The price we pay for the skillsets we have and abuse, right?
As far as the info I've got, it's info on a prototype QLSU, otherwise known as a Quantum Lane Synchro Unit. Apparently, this unit far exceeds the previous iteration we all know and love. From what I've been able to ascertain, it pulls far less power from a quantum state than the current system Ageira utilizes. As a result, they are able to more efficiently operate lanes for longer periods allowing longer "home-run" links from point A to point B. This means, as you no doubt are already aware, that they can operate longer total lanes than the current tech. An added feature of these QLSU's is higher levels of security, meaning hacks are more difficult against this infrastructure. If we have an idea of how the prototype has been developed, this will allow us to stay ahead of the game for any future Ageira tech moving forward.
The ship itself is owned by a high level Ageira employee named Benjamin Knightly. He's rumored to have not only a drinking problem, but a drug and escort problem as well. He also tends to be a loudmouth which is how I came by this intel. He's been heard bragging about the project in various Brothels and vacation spots throughout the sector and what resources I have left up my sleeve have reported it to me. So much for OPSEC, eh? However, like I said, much of my network is no longer operational so I wasn't able to dig much further than I have without being spotted by those who want me in a body bag.
Of course, if the intel I've obtained so far is bogus and you and your girls get into a bind as a result, of course you can keep the Obsidian as recompence for any damages you suffer as a result. If you're unable to get the ship, I will reimburse you monetarily. However, if the intel I have is genuine, then it benefits all of us moving forward to staying ahead of our former masters and I hope that you're able to deliver the Obsidian. It's a win-win for the both of us.
...and besides, consider that I'll owe you one too.

Smelling an opportunity for some juicy 0-days, now you have my attention! I'm sure the girls would love to look at something that's not Kishiro tech finally. This'd make how many security updates in a row that are dead on arrival? I lost count ~
C-suite dipshit, huh. Figures. Alright, I've shared the deets and we've got a concept of a plan: while back we dumped some deprecated hacking wares loaded up with trackers on the market, pushed 'em to corpo types who wanted to play pretend.
Pulled a lotta good info from that op, including admin credentials to some boring OSC DBs. We thought there wasn't much we could do with 'em other than prank some idiot by ordering 500 cigarretes to their room or whatever, buuut now? We could call a shuttle for this Benji boy to transfer that ship to Curaçao. Then that shuttle's gonna have a lil' accident in transit and end up in Mactan somehow. Oopsie.

Hey Chloe. Sorry for the delay, I promise I'm not dead despite others best attempts to put me in the ground.
I confirmed the Obsidian was at our favorite little vacation spot. I wormed my way into a sub-processing unit onboard the Obsidian and managed to escalate permissions in the safety systems which autopilot the ship in case of emergency. From there it was a simple matter of injecting some new code into the kernel, tricking it into thinking that the emergency landing location was in deep space just outside the Cortez system. I rendezvoused with the ship and now have it in my possession.
I'll be heading to Ontario to meet with one of your crew to pull the data off the ships systems. With any luck, these zero-day exploits will keep us ahead of the game. I hope that C-Level moron is having a good time with our boys at Mactan. I'm sure his vices will be well looked after during his stay there.

We got a docking bay all warmed up for ya at the Makerspace so drop in whenev's. Just uh, watch out for the spooks, they're kinda feisty these days.
We'll set it up so you can just swap out the decks on that thing and have it space-worthy right away, in case you don't feel like hanging out in the boonies. Tho we do keep the bar well stocked, just sayin'.
The corpo dork is having is defo having a good time, I threw out a line and turned out some folks had some questions for the guy, so I'm sure they're all just having nice long conversation.
Can't wait to crack open that bad boy and see what's inside!
