PROJECT: 'YOKAI' Entry #001

Project YOKAI is a research project to acquire the means to produce Cloaking Devices and creation of those devices thereafter. Approval was granted by the Kusari Government to proceed. Below is a graphic which outlines where the module will be constructed on the existing structure of Tomakomai Research Complex.

The required materials for this module are as follows:

Hull Panels x5000
Industrial Materials x10000
Robotics x10000
Construction Machinery x5000
Optronics x10000
Xeno Relics x2500

Work is already underway to procure the materials required for this. We anticipate completing this project in the next three days, with the immediate construction of a test cloaking device to follow.

PROJECT: 'YOKAI' Entry #002

The cloaking factory is now complete. Some initial bumps were encountered when it came to procuring Xeno Relics, however we were able to locate a local supplier who were more than happy to part with their cache of XRs.

The facility itself has fitted nicely onto Tomakomai, the addition of extra shielding from radiation should also make it much more pleasant for our researchers to operate there. The only real complaint so far from station staff thus far has been it's distance from the cafeteria. We will try to ensure a vending machine of some sorts can be installed outside the labs themselves so hungry staff can acquire a snack in between work.

We are already preparing to outfit the Onryo with one of these devices. This project is being headed by Ahri Morikawa. Meanwhile, production of cloaking devices will now become an active part of our operations. Several of our own vessels will also be serviced with these upgrades, and we hope to try to find some live test subjects in the field to observe and collect data on for our benefactors.
