Missile changes (not CD)

Suggestion: Learn to use missiles that don't track and do massive damage - Cannonballs.

If you can master that, you'll agree that the missile balance in the game is very fair - no one uses missiles and hence not many people know how to defend against them;)

As for the cargo limit on missiles...I myself am an avid missile user on fighters because of their effectiveness. I very rarely carry more than 30 as they are expensive and if I were to die, I would of course lose that money. Maybe the price of missiles should be decreased a little?

Unlimited ammo is just nuts...

The only "missile" that doesnt track (lock) the target, are flak turrets.. (uh?)

Cannonball missiles do track, just not as well as others. Regardless, because of that, you cant reliably place the missiles where you want them to go.

And by learn i assume you mean use them for an instant kill similar to what a bomber would do with a SN in jousts


Ammo (all of it) could use a decrease in its cost, while at the same time a slight increase (maybe allow up to 100?) in storage space. Along with surprisingly low tracking ability of whats supposed to be the best tracker missiles (stalker series / sidewinder) cost also makes people turn away from using them.

(On the subject, i think Stalker / Sidewinder and Capital Ship Missile Turrets should have their stats swapped)

Smaller more agile fighter missiles should be able to track other Fighters alot better than a Larger, (what should be less agile) capital ship missiles.
Hell, one time i had a gunboat behind me spamming missiles, i kept dropping 80% CMs (almost nonstop) and still had missiles hitting me.

pfft it does enough dmg to make you're enemy go boom.

Yeah, I basically fly like an idiot, firing an Inferno at people while spamming missiles. At least one of them's gonna hit, right?

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
