Hi there !

I just started Discovery Freelancer a few days ago, just to have a feel of the game, and that's great.

I am 36yo and French, I speak French and English, bits of German. I am a casual gamer, I am around to chill, and as a forever GM IRL, I'm glad to be able to make my RP way amongst the stars for once ! I am eager to RP and invest myself (as much as I am able to) in RP event & factions. I'd love to make new friends around here !

FL is a real nostalgia shot to me, and I am a huge fan of most of space game/4x, such as Elite, X4, Avorion, EVE, etc.
No real idea of how I am gonna RP my character on the long term (so I let myself space to join groups & faction as I interact with people), but now that's how I see them at the start of their adventure :

Shal Urrandi is a freelancer, mining and trading on the fringe of legality just to earn enough for a living. They owe no one and vice versa ; a simple life, sometimes lonely but never dull. Though, maybe something is itching in the back of their neck, a itch to make a difference, to prove themselve to others, join force to achieve what they could'nt on themselve. But that's just a itch and life as a rock-hopper suits them well for now.

If you get stuck with anything, or run into any issues, the official discovery discord server Soban linked is a place for any and all of these possible issues to be asked about. Plenty of people there that can help you out, and you’ll likely get a solution in a reliable timeframe.

I'm pacing slowly through lore. I already joined the Discord and read rules, tutos.
Now I just might start playing for real, when I polished a bit the kind of RP I wanna bring.

I won't hesitate to ask for direction or help if I feel the need, and will mostly be active on discord I guess.
