Now this is the kind of message I want to wake up to. It has all the right ingredients: money and stuff to blow up. Am already on my way to Omicron Delta. Your bounty contract is hereby accepted.

Mr. Turner,
I represent a contractor group based in Rheinland: Bauer-Sicherheitsagentur. We did a field contract with Weiss involving your group and were about to march out to Dublin to see if the Bretonians needed specialist assistance.
But seeing your predicament, I figure we can come to an arrangement. I've got a handful of boys with me ready to assist in any operations here. Most of us are former Military, and we've got no problems rolling with an operation like this. It won't be our first time clearing out a pirate nest, the dead Tiger's Renegades can attest to that, and you can count on us to do picket work and reconnaissance work on these guys.
We're fine getting paid per kill, just so long as you cut us in, we'll move with that guarantee. Just don't ask us to do anything that'll get us in trouble back home. I can have a contract in your hands if you give us the word.
Signed,
Agent Erich Strauss

This is Duke Silverton once again, we demand that this will be taken into custody of ARM procedures.
Jacob Turner, this will mean you will hand over the contract to the ARM, as this classifies as a full fledge combat operation. You are to hereby release control on the attack to us on this base, as this should be a glory mission, NOT a simple corporate calling. This is our chance to prove to the rest of the Edge Worlds that we are to be bowed to as the greatest entity in local space. In order for this to stand out, we must have full control.
I await your reply, Duke out.

If you do what you are about to do, the depot and its financial backing will have to be withdrawn. Operational control either remains at the forefront of the rally, or financial backing for the outpost’s destruction will not be able to stand. Rank pulling has its price, sir.
The most we can do is maybe issue a contract on Corsair vessels in and around Delta, but this will not be easy to pull off with ARM in control. Not to mention the angry Hunters that are going to show up and find out there’s no longer a claim to be made.
What will it be? Money? Or Glory? You do not get both.

If I said that was in the name of money, we wouldn't be any better than the pirates who demand it already.
It is time to flush them out, the fleets of both Core and ARM commands are at the ready. ARM will lead the charge and land first strike, from there on out it will be a full combat operation for all of our allies. This will be in the name of proving who we are, of honor, and glory. Money isn't our main concern; we want that base annihilated here and now. We go to war as warriors, and we are more than ready.
In the name of the Core.

I hereby formally remove the financial backing of this operation, the Depot from any and all actions inside this assault and, despite my better judgment, pass operational jurisdiction over to you and ARM. I hope you know what you’re doing, Admiral. I am sure these Hunters coming for the payouts won’t be too pleased with this change of events.
A development most disappointing, Administrator, but not without reason.
We all chase our own profits here and I don't believe the "ARM" would be more than willing to compensate us with anything more than a honorary award made out of byproduct of planetary iridium processing. Therefore, since their regiment has taken a decision to assume control over this operation without presenting any additional funding, the "Manifest Destiny" will not be appearing on the scene.
However, in the event of Corsair retaliation upon your installation, given its distance from Durban, we shall still be present. We do expect a due compensation for our efforts from both you and the Guild, should the theoretical danger come to reality.
Gloria Aeterna.

A shame that soldiers of the Core would rather fight for money rather than their own people.
But if it is money you want, then so be it, you will get your cash. The bounty will be renewed and funded by the ARM, fifty million credits split to all who participate in this battle against the Corsairs. One percent will be earned for every fighter kill, two percent for every gunship kill, three percent for every Cruiser class capital ship kill, and four and a half percent for anything larger. I expect proof of every kill, identification and all.
Down with Corsairs, Duke out.

Mr. Turner,
So you're telling me now, after I hauled my ass all the way here, you voided the contract? That's gonna make a lot of hunters like me pretty angry. You'll find attached the cost of this little stunt of yours.
Ciao for now.
Mr. Silverton,
I gotta respect jumping in and keeping the bounty up. Am sure, was not a pleasant thing to do after Mr. Turner sounded the drums of war, got cold feet and bailed out.
Your proposed rates are most preposterous. I could earn more by spending the rest of my days in the rice fields as an illegal immigrant on Kyushu.
Save your socialist bravado for the militaries and for the gullible who believe in "just causes". The Core isn't like the Liberty Navy or The Order. It's purely business. If it's chivalry you look for, I suggest you seek out the Militants.
