Good evening,

I am writing to inform you of some events that unfolded in the Omicrons earlier today. In the middle of a contracting operation, one of your ships, callsign 'Muses', implied that he was working with a vessel, callsign THR-Overseer.Unit-42-F. We were unaware, until today, that Phoenix researchers are employing Gammu AI vessels for their own purposes. Callsign 'Muses' openly admitted to employing this particular vessel for research purposes. The specific vessel in-question was dispatched by our wing in pursuit of two contracts assigned to it.

This bodes a problem, considering that Aegis has relationships with multiple groups of clientele who pay well for us to dispose of these vessels, especially in the Omicrons. Given our recent status with your bounty-board, this marks these contracts as potential conflicts of interest. We would like to head this off before tensions escalate between our two groups.

One of the contracts gives us incentive to dispatch callsign 'Muses', as it could be argued that his admittance to aiding the vessel could hamper us in our mission to dispatch the target in-question. Out of our interest in preserving a working relationship with your group, we let him live.

However, this comes at cost. We humbly request a sum of 50.000 Sirian Credits for the trouble and we would like assurance that Callsign 'Muses', or any Phoenix vessel not interfere, verbally or otherwise, in our operations going forward. Please send the credits to Aegis|Bank at your earliest convenience. This is our first and only warning.

Hello, sweeties,

When I spotted “Aegis” in my inbox this morning, I was positively tingling—surely a charming photo of a Corsair begging for mercy or erupting into glitter!
Imagine my disappointment when I opened it and found… paperwork. Sigh.

Serious hat on for a moment: we have zero special arrangements with the tin‑cans roaming the Omicrons. Remember Kappa?
We backed the Core. Our targets were the Vis and the Corsairs, yet the AI and that over‑caffeinated technocrat still felt the urge to lob hot plasma our way.
It seems dear Muse got a little too excited about building himself a sentient toaster. He’ll receive a polite reminder to keep his mechanical curiosity firmly outside your business, thank you very much.

Your credits have been dispatched. Might I suggest investing in a premium hemorrhoid cream, darling? Because if one eccentric scientist truly registers as a crisis for the “elite,” we have much bigger problems.

Oh, and about this little gem:
