I must bring to you a matter of great importance, which I have put off for some time. Some time ago, I encountered a fortune-teller in the border worlds of the Barrier. The type of magic which they used was the utilization of cards. I was not familiar with the particular technique, however I was convinced strongly of their ability.
They revealed to me, among other things, a matriarch figure of a five-fold symbol overturned. The oracle informed me that this figure is the greatest person of benevolence, in the standard orientation, but a great tyrant in reverse. However, I believe this to be slightly different. Clearly the pentacle represents the five houses, and its overturned state the disunity among them. Another thing which was revealed was a knight of great valor and goodwill. It is likely that either you are the great matriarch and I am the knight, or the other way around. This means that it is our destiny to unite all of humankind and rule Sirius in grace and magnanimity. Typically in my home, we have used the sands and seas for fortune-telling, however I am quite confident in this analysis.
Since you have such a grand and respected position and the connections with this, it appears that you would be ideal to inquire about this fate. This is naturally a matter of immense consequence to us, and to all humanity.
Unfortunately my appartement has exploded, which is a setback in my greater designs, however I will find a way to overcome also this.

As for the fortune telling, I am intrigued and amused that such forms of fortune telling still exist. I am merely aware and have been paying visits to temples offering omikuji, as well as owning an extensive collection of Omamori amulets. Utilizing cards, never really saw that before myself.
As for its contents or more so, your interpretation of it: I am both honored and once more amused that you immediately thought about me. I could entertain the thought of being the Great Matriarch of Sirius, though I believe you take things too far here. The disunity of the houses is a delicate matter, you see. Whereas there are diplomatic bridges - yes even comradeship and friendship - between some of the colonies, and all sharing significant interdependencies in economic sectors, the world as the generation before me knew is gone. Post the colony wars, these inter-colony bonds weakened, they are fragile enough that sometimes a spark will suffice and millions are sent to die for basically nothing, all whilst economies dwindle and everyone's situation worsens a little more again.
We are at the brink of another great war and I have sworn myself to do everything within my abilities to preserve peace or at the very least limit the scale of a conflict. I still dream to put in the work for pursuing the utopian vision of a more united sector but I do not hold it in high hopes for years anymore. Palistri, what I believe we can take away from this session of fortune telling is, that is it on us. Me and even you, as that knight of great valor, to aspire to be those to succeed in bringing the people of Sirius and perhaps even Gallia unity and stability. To move away from these three decades of warfare ravaging across the sector. To simply not give up this hope and goal, for who else would still try to pursue it in this rotten world if not us?

In the matter of the explosion of my residence, it is that I was renting a unit upon Roppongi. It was a small place, so I did not keep so many personal belongings at the location, and of course I was not home at the time of the incident. Or we could hardly share this conversation!
But it is gone, and I concede it has been with some difficulty to find accommodation. I have found some short-term living solutions, but a longer contract is very difficult.
I believe the time requisite for residence has actually passed upon which I should be able to apply for citizenship, but the lack of official permanent residence, owing to the explosion, is presenting a legal problem.
It is not a great struggle as I can spend much time on the Clouded Dawn, though one day I must find a solution more permanent.
This is not so important! We must speak more of the grand fate.
I see the dissolution of the bonds greater than ever. It is disheartening naturally, but I assume this to be a step into a more grand era of reunification. I believe you are right, that conflict is coming, and that it will be of a significant scale. I see the news, I read reports, and it appears to the south, conflict with the Liberty Republic almost guaranteed. This will in turn change the balance to the west, in this quiet war with the Tau resources. All of this is very terrible, but clearly it is a necessary motion to fulfill the destiny.
I wish to learn more of these temples you consult. We should use this technique if we can gain more detailed knowledge. Perhaps we could visit such a place together?
You must not give up on your vision, for it matches what I have seen. It is likely that we have some time to wait yet, but we are not so old, so I do not have the concerns.

I would not mind helping you find a more long-term accommodation, though I am admittedly way too pre-occupied to handle this or visit any temples within the coming days. As you surely noticed, matters escalated rapidly. Open skirmishes and mutual embargo regulations set our bilateral relations to Liberty to the lowest point in more than three hundred years.
If you wish to visit the temple yourself, just make way for the Yaezakura Shrine on New Tokyo. It is a very small and very old location, hidden away in one of the few pockets of forests within the metropolitan center of New Tokyo. Few visit it in this day and age but frequently visiting a place initially constructed by our very ancestors who arrived from Sol, it simply reminds me of what they fled from. The reason we're in Sirius to begin with. In times like these, I must remind myself of it. Perhaps I will arrange a visit after all, we shall see.
