Thanks! Maybe you could share your builds if you have photos, I'd love to see them.

Here's a video from 10 years ago of one of my proudest works to date! A life-size replica of an L96A1. Features a working magazine with "bullets" and a fully working bolt-action mechanism of my own creation! Good stuff overall!

You can find more videos of other Lego guns of mine on my channel if you dig far back. Unfortunately about 99% of the work I ever did on Lego was not recorded or pictured, it only exists as a memory!

I remember having built many, many things from Starlancer too, including the Borodin, Shroud and Basilisk. Other than that I mostly built gun replicas that more often than not did not feature a working mechanism. In general its a huge pain in the ass to fit a working mechanism in a Lego gun while also keeping it life-size, so usually you either go the 'working' route or the 'replica' route. It's pretty hard to have both. Which explains why I'm still very proud of the above creation!

That's pretty amazing! Reminds me of my childhood builds with my dad where we didn't have enough bricks in white or black and would make huge colorful ships and tankers.

I never thought about trying to make Freelancer MOCs with the lego sets I got. And I got quite a few Star Wars ships...

For the defender did you used the City Space sets I take it? Which ones though? I got some of those too Big Grin

Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh, you touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding.

Not sure exactly which sets all the parts come from, but the canopy is from an old V-Wing Star Wars set, I used pieces from 60431: Space Explorer Rover and Alien Life, 60430: Interstellar Spaceship and some vintage Futuron sets.
