In the Omicrons, yeah. Not everywhere though. That's what the other house Intel IDs are for. The Core is focusing on extracting these exotic resources and protecting their operations there. Why are they going to spread themselves thin? Especially when their assets are now limited from the Omicron disasters? Doesn't make sense.

The Core has always functioned in a way where it will pursue alien materials everywhere if they can be exploited. The Edge Worlds are not the only places with that. Houses utilise Core to do that dirty work for them, and also Core seeks these materials to make profit themselves. Houses have their secrets and what they're able to deal with themselves within their own borders, but outside of that, it's where Core steps in. I don't think recent events are relevant to the fundamental basis of what the faction is and how it conducts its gameplay otherwise that's a slippery slope for all IDs.

Any core ship that isn't a cruiser, battle cruiser, or battleship can exercise general lines and explicit ID lines that are ZOI agnostic (hunting aliens, order, etc)
