I am Ahri Morikawa, a representative of Musashi Innovations - a Kusari research corporation. I was informed that our organisations share the same sponsors, albeit we operate in different regions.
I was made aware by the aforementioned sponsors that you have recently discovered something of potentially significant value in your recent ventures. This is something that piqued my interest, and given our mutual situation with the shareholders, would like to approach with an offer of co-operation.
We have resources and equipment available to support this research to send to you, or alternatively, a secure wing within our headquarters with specialised labs that may assist in the endeavour should your base of operations not have the infrastructure required.
Would you kindly advise on your situation and intent with the recent discovery?

Yeah... we found this heavy rock in the posession of a trading vessel. We took it as payment for not turning his ship into asteroid decor, if you get what I mean.
Our good and gracious hosts here aren't big on science, so neither are we. You can have the rock, so long as you can deliver on the research aspect. I'm convinced that my boss expects some results out of this thing one way or the other.
Bring some supplies in exchange too, why don't you? Working around these parts has a tendency of making our gear wear out faster. A-a-and some native hardware for Fifteen. I hear he's really invested into giving his old bird back its wings.
I will arrange for a convoy for collect the object. I will confirm a time, but we will need a location to meet.
As for supplies, that can be arranged alongside the convoy - we will just need more details as to what is required specifically. Bear in mind that we are specialised in producing experimental weaponry and performance-enhancing ship modifications, so if you would ever have a need for new tools in your operations, we are happy to arrange some to be 'leased to anonymous clients'.
Provided the findings are interesting, we may later issue a request for more of these objects in exchange - and information from where they are recovered. Recordings, interrogations from those they are retrieved from, and so on - but that can be discussed at a later date. Unfortunately, the distance makes it quite difficult for us to obtain this information ourselves, and your experience with the less-savoury side of business could give us an advantage in this field.
Let me know the details of your needs and I'll start putting in the logistical requests internally.

Don't you worry about the delivery aspect, cousin. I'll have this shiny rock delivered to you in no time. I thought about using those blue farts the GMG used to kick The Military's ass that one time as a meeting point -- should cover up our signatures real nice.
Could you bring about 500 Units of ship components ideally made by Samura? Full assortment, if anything. Some of those are bound to be of some use. That should do it for the time being -- and maybe... just maybe, hmm... What kind of tech can you juice up our birds with? I'm not entirely sure, but my friend here might want something extra in the 'defense' department.
If it's an assortment of ship components, that can easily be arranged. We have plenty in our labs from our projects as spare parts, from a variety of manufacturers.
As for technology, if it's 'defensive' equipment that you seek, we have custom models of ship shields that have an integrated power generator that eases the load on the main powercore. The result is decreased power drain that can then be used for weapons and auxiliary systems, along with the electric overload discharge you would find in Positron shield systems.
Does that sound like something your friend would be interested in?

Seems like my guy took 'offense is the best defense' quite literally. Do you think you can fetch us a set of those weird, schmancy guns they call 'Moonlight'? I've arranged a convoy with some people I trust to get you this trinket in the meantime. I know we haven't exactly agreed on the special equipment part, but we did on everything else, didn't we?
Boss is already chewing me up for holding back this trade. So lets make it happen, alright? I'd like to be able get back to hauling supplies sooner rather than later.
Kon'nichiwa, Mr. Morikawa. I am to take point on these talks between our respective families. You may call me Fifteen, though I'm not sure that matters. A rarity to hear from home, especially after... Well. Best not to highlight the past too much. Don't want anyone getting ideas.
I'm the one looking to return my vessel from home to their former glory, but you knew that. I need components of a model along the lines of Samura tech, found in the hands of some old friends of mine. They aren't Samura's usual, if you get what I mean, a different slice to their civilian and military technology, though I'm sure some of those would work in place as alternatives. I also need extra engine components from Kusari's Gas Miners. I can't reach out myself, you understand.
I'm also supposed to assist in this rock moving. Escort duty, but a duty nonetheless. Maybe we can come to an arrangement to fix her up on the side, too? Many hands make light work, as they say. Plus it keeps Five at bay. Can't have them noseying round matters that aren't of their concern.
Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am Ryu Nakamura, assistant to Ahri Morikawa. I have been designated to handle this matter.
We can arrange a time and a place to make this exchange. I can bring you the required materials to the Sigma-13 system. Moonlight is not a weapon we are currently manufacturing, however, so we are unable to provide those. In stock, we currently have 'Dark Blossom', 'Solaris', 'Dulzian' and 'Archangel' weapons, but there are other alternatives that we can produce for fighter-class vessels; there will just simply be time required for us to create those.
Ryu Nakamura, Research Assistant The spearhead of the never-seen-before
I will bear your production capacity in mind, but for the time being it would be best if we focused on the business that brought our attentions to align towards one another. We can arrange movement of the rock to Sigma-13, preparations are already in progress for the transportation. Details of the when have been embedded in this transmission for you. Providing there is no further need to re-arrange, we can move as planned.
It might also be worthy of note that on an abnormal patrol through Omega space, another object of curious origins was also discovered. We aren't scientists, and neither are we very good with deciphering scan data - Most some of our family can manage is distinguishing between what's friendly and what's not. This is maybe where you come in. You are all more well-versed in the art of scientific research and discoveries, aren't you?
Konbanwa. I hope you and your new rock made it home okay. It was a bit of a bumpy ride home for us. We survived, mostly. The components are yet to be sorted through and organised, but they look promising. Yeah, they made it home in one piece, despite the differences of the family. There should be more than enough to do what I need to do now, thank you.
Now, about that more scientific and research-y side of you, cousins. Did you give it any more thought? Or did it get dismissed. See, ordinarily I would leave matters like these to fade out of existence while I have other priorities, but you did go to the efforts to make a good impression on us, so it wouldn't be right for me to not do the same. I can elaborate a bit more, now our previous assignment has been finished up.
It's... Well. I do not know what it is exactly. All I can really describe it as is some form of freaky thing. There's some funny rocks. No, not like the one we gave you, these ones are dumb rocks that do nothing. They form a sort-of trail that lead up to a hazy cloud of purple and a collection of larger, similarly dumb funny rocks. Up there, is this thing. I have a... Picture? of it somewhere. You'll find it attached. Maybe one of you will have to come out here to see it for yourselves... I have little words to describe it. It doesn't burn, explode or is able to be fixed, as far as I know, so it's a bit out of my areas of expertise.
