Vice Admiral, Maria Uhmen.
It has been weeks since our last communication and we have received no word or sign of TGA One as to when it will arrive. I would understand changes within the home front can cause some changes in directives, but a separate channel connected with agent Excelsus has me questioning his devotion to our shared cause. That being fighting for the greater good of humanity that is. The 46th fleet has fought by Crayters side in Coronado against the outcast menace for the better half of a decade. I believe in your sense of honor and justice, of which I do not question in this moment, but the LSF has been seen as aloof. Unwilling to commit to a direction and sprawling on any new leads for abstract threats when real ones still remain undealt with. Unwilling to compromise pride pride for goals.

Can I still count on you and TGA One to support us? Or has Agent Excelsus sent us both back to the drawing board?

For those we left behind.

Fleet Admiral Garan,

I must admit that Kusari's unexpected advances were not part of my plan, and at the very least they caught us off guard. Nevertheless, TGA One's role is not to spearhead the war against Kusari - not in current time at least - and to my knowledge I have not recalled assets that were stationed in Coronado. The five Archer-class siege cruisers as well as the five Defiant-class gunboats that had been named during our last conversation should still be within the Crayter Republic's area of operations. The only exceptions made to the list I forwarded are due to operational needs, listed below.

Firstly, the LNS Akhetaten, the presence of which was required in other fronts.

Secondly, the LNS Kennedy which was assigned to a mission no more than sixteen hours ago and is currently at Norfolk Shipyard.

Please, Fleet Admiral, do run another check on the shipyard's logs. The listed vessels should all -barring aforementioned exceptions- be assigned to the dockmaster and combat ready at all times.
  • LNS Akhetaten, Akhetaten-class
  • LNS Margate, Archer-class
  • LNS Normandy, Archer-class
  • LNS Oakland, Archer-class
  • LNS Olympia, Archer-class
  • LNS Portland, Archer-class
  • LNS Berkeley, Defiant-class
  • LNS Cooper, Defiant-class
  • LNS Kennedy, Defiant-class
  • LNS Meredith, Defiant-class
  • LNS Wainwright, Defiant-class

Last but not least, while I cannot speak on behalf of Forty-sixth Fleet, I can certainly speak on behalf of Task Force Akhetaten. As you have been made aware, Fleet Admiral, the task force has received permission from the Government to act independently, and this has thus lead us to adopt a doctrine that the rest of the Navy is foreign to. Agent Excelsus, as well as the Liberty Security Force as a whole, operate under their equally unique and perhaps misunderstood doctrine.

While it may look as though Task Force Akhetaten is operating under rules that better match the LSF, that couldn't be more far from the truth.

The only reason I requested - perhaps demanded, even - independency and special rules of engagement for the LNS Akhetaten and this contingent of Task Force Akhetaten by the Republic's Government was to find a way to thwart the ever increasing alien threat. What has been taking place in Ontario and in Coronado over the past few years, that the Government wishes to push aside, is not a matter to ignore.

Task Group Akhetaten One will stand by Crayter Republic's side against the difficult situations to come.

We are aware of the connection between Planet Sudbury in Ontario and Planet Jericho in Coronado, and we are aware of the assumed inactive - but maybe not so inactive - alien gate in the latter system. And while our own science teams may not have been able to decipher anything useful as of yet, we will not give up.

It feels as though you need something, Fleet Admiral, and I urge you to speak freely. Before continuing, however, I'd like to yet again inform you that the full arsenal of TGA One is at your disposal, including the LNS Akhetaten even if the warship is not currently located near Sabah Shipyard.

In service to the Republic.

In service to humanity.

Vice Admiral, Maria Uhmen.
I have troubling news and foreboding tidings. I need your honor and your trust. Be warry of unrecognized faces. An intel report has confirmed that some wendigos have been flying ships and IFFs of servicemen declared MIA from the Tuscaloosa taskforce during their mission into Inverness. I don't think these men can come back from the dead but are scavenged ships that were ambushed by nomads and their thralls, they may possibly mask themselves as LSF to escape from our gaze and conduct subterfuge against us. As well as a confirmation that large warforms of these new vagrant nomads are able to hyperspace travel between systems, and simple surveillance is no longer good enough to ensure they are contained.

This has alarmed us to the highest as the Crayter Republic has faced a surveillance blackout when Jericho activated. Though our systems and nets are back up I can't help but be warry of the possibility of a surprise attack. We need to escalate our actions against this alien threat before it jumps out of our hands. We need the experts on the nomads. We need the order, and they need us.

The Order Overwatch has promised their help in dealing with the nomads but require something before we can use them as our sword. The Atum, a vessel which you may have heard rumors of, is in search of a safe haven. The Order has approached the Crayter Republic to shelter the Atum in time for it to be repaired. It would then be at our disposal to destroy the enemy that lies in Inverness.

Vessels are being sorted into the barrier to escort the Atum into Crayter space. As a sign of faith I ask that a contingent of TGA One be attached to this force to ensure the procurement of this asset. It will surely make our shared directives a whole lot easier in the long run and a risk of fewer lives of our own people to see them completed. I understand of what I am asking of you, and I hope you do too. Vice Admiral.

For those we left behind.

I must say that this is not what I expected to hear, Fleet Admiral.

I see you took my words to the letter and you did not hold back in your request, and I honor that. The Crayter Republic truly is full of surprises, but I am glad nonetheless that you do not keep your hands crossed and simply let events play out while watching from the sidelines.

Addressing the matters you mentioned one at a time, I thank you for the information regarding those so-called wendigos. I have to admit that this is a name I've not heard of before, so I can only assume that it must be a new development in the world of the Nomads. With Task Group Akhetaten One being the only Navy division - to my knowledge - that operates within the sector, I shall see to it that this information is relayed to those it concerns.

The threat of Nomad, be it Vagrant or not, warforms having jump capabilities is nothing new. We had been made aware of this by the LSF a while ago, and we have been taking countermeasures to ensure operational safety. We must, at all times, operate under the assumption that we are outnumbered by a force that we cannot see, Fleet Admiral. This is not to be forgotten.

Now on to the more enticing matter that you brought up.

While it doesn't surprise me that the Order seeks to move an asset as important as the Atum in order to keep it more actively involved in the on-going events, it does surprise me that they seek Crayter's aid in repairing, resupplying and being in charge of maintenance. While also unexpected in nature, I cannot express any dislike towards the proposal you made. I understand that it likely wasn't an easy move to even inform me of this maneuver, let alone request my assistance. The Order must truly be pushed to the extremes if such an offer for help is being made, even if it isn't them directly making it.

I must ask, before continuing, Fleet Admiral.

Has the Order been consulted regarding this? I will make the assumption that Crayter Republic has already contacted the Order and informed them of your intention to request the help of Task Group Akhetaten One, and I will reply to you assuming, again, that the Order has agreed to receive our help. After all, no hostilities have been recorded between Task Force Akhetaten and the Order's many cells - be it Overwatch or others.

The Atum is, understandably so, an important asset in humanity's side when it comes to the Nomad war. If the Order is willing to finally take real action against the ever-increasing threat on our own backyard, then who am I to shut the idea down.

Before offering my assistance, Fleet Admiral, I must ask one more very important question.

Is this a joint operation between the Order and Crayter Republic or are other groups that we do not know about also involved?

You must understand that I need to know what I'll be assigning my men to, before making any such decisions.

Last but not least, the Forty-sixth's Admiralty will be informed of these events should assets of Task Force Akhetaten become involved. I hope this will not be problematic to you, or the Order.

In service to the Republic.

In service to humanity.

Vice Admiral, Maria Uhmen.
Being the only current standing Liberty influence within Coronado it was a risky coin flip to take informing you with this matter, but one you would have found out of anyway if the Republic had followed through in this course of events without you. I believe it would have set a far worse course between us and TGA One.

As far as the Order and any other supporters, there are no other outside supporters. This has been a very recent development, likewise, nor do they know of your potential support in the future. Until your confirmation of support TGA was still an "undetermined factor" and the Order can be informed not to be alarmed by your presence in the field. Unlike you vice admiral, they are not in a position to decline anything.

I understand you will have to inform your superiors after all is said and done, but make effort not to create a conflict of interest. We have a plan set but I wouldn't see it derailed before we see any benefit from it and we'll have already paid the risk.

It's now your choice to assist in the operation. The support sent by TGA One can be briefed by the commanding officer of the operation once sortied. It is currently unknown if there will be resistance by the aliens or their thralls. Once the Atum is on the move the escort will have to be prepared to receive a hot potato and any steam following it.

For those we left behind.

Fleet Admiral,

Please do not take my stance towards the matter as the Republic's stance. As stated before, myself alongside Task Force Akhetaten have been granted unique permissions from the Government that allow us to stray outside the regular modus operandi of the Republic's armed forces. You and I are very well aware of the stance the Republic has towards the Order, a stance that even I have difficulty overriding.

When operating within Liberty's borders, my hands are tied. Outside them, however, I have some important level of operational independency - and trust, of course.

I understand that the Order may have no real say in whether they want TGA One's support or not, but I would very much appreciate it if they were informed beforehand. Naturally, I'd be doing this myself if I had any contacts within Overwatch. Seeing that I don't, however, I've respectfully pushed this matter onto your own capable hands.

The rest of the Fleet's Admiralty has been informed of my intentions, Fleet Admiral, and I do not intend to hide them from you any longer.

Task Group Akhetaten One will participate in the defense of this high value convoy. Due to the importance of this mission, and as a sign of good faith towards the Order, the LNS Akhetaten itself will be assigned to this operation with none other than myself at the helm. Within the next few minutes I will inform TGA One's operatives and officers of the upcoming operation as well. Of course, most of TGA One's assets will remain in position, guarding Sabah Shipyard. We cannot risk compromising our strong foothold of the station, after all.

That is all by me, Fleet Admiral. You have mine and TGA One's full support during this endeavor.

Please inform me in due time of the rendezvous point - both spatial, and temporal - for our forces.

In service to the Republic.

In service to humanity.
