Hello.
I've been seeing your unit around for a while now, including staging off one of our outposts. Uninvited, much like the battleship that followed. If I didn't know any better, I'd suspect you were the vanguard of its unnanounced arrival all along. But I digress.
Rocky start aside, our goals align. You're here to exterminate the squid thralls and so are we. I'm sure we can both agree we'd be better off working together, so I'd like to keep a line of communication open, be it for intel or organisational purposes. If you need my credentials, you can ask the Overwatch for them.

COOPERATION
Guten Tag.
My name is Alfred Schwartz, and I am the commander of the man known as Tau-2, and as such your message has been forwarded to me. We have already conducted all necessary checks regarding your previous cooperation with Overwatch, and would be happy to cooperate on matters in the Vespucci system. As for cooperation, the initial conditions should be as follows:
Non-interference by the Gaians in the work of the Order agents in the territory of Vespucci, Kansas, Magellan, Cortez and Coronado.
Non-interference by the Order in the work of the Gaians, unless it violates point #1 (it is implied that we will only interfere if your actions can interfere with our plans).
Joint work of the Gaians and The Order to eradicate the alien threat in the border systems between Bretonnia and Liberty, as well as in the Vespucci system.
Joint work of the Gaians and the Order to ensure the defense of Atacama Station and the Battleship Atum, respectively.
All points have been voiced in accordance with respect for your boundaries, the current state of affairs and the current agenda of the Order as an organization. I could offer you more, but my authority is not so great, and we still have to get to know each other better. If everything goes smoothly, we can take on larger work, but for now I suggest we limit ourselves to the minimum.
I await your reply.

Commander Schwartz.
Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I can't say I expected terms right out of the gate, but these sound reasonable enough to me. Agreed, of course. I doubt you'll see any trouble from other Gaians in the area, either.
But, I am also glad you brought these terms up, as I was meaning to ask. On the 25th of August, I encountered one of your agents, Melusine, during a sweep of planet Veracruz. They seemed to be engaged in some manner of presumably investigative activities with a Technocrat infectee. They didn't seem too happy about my appearance in the area, implying it was disruptive to whatever it is they were doing.
I'd appreciate if you could shed some light on that, Commander. Some insight on what exactly that's all about, and maybe some guidelines so that we don't get underfoot, would be greatly appreciated.

MELUSINE
Guten Tag.
We are aware of the situation with Melusine and the Technocracy. Rest assured that the agent is acting with our permission. To avoid confusion, you may ask them the question: "How are you?" If the answer is not "Everything is fine, unsafe, interesting and beautifully", then mark the agent as a hostile and eliminate them, reporting to us immediately. If you hear the correct answer, do not interfere.
This only applies in situations where 34th Brigade agents encounter the Technocracy/any suspicious group and it doesn't end in a shootout.
This only applies to the 34th Brigade, with other agents, pilots and commanders of the Order operating in Vespucci and the surrounding systems, you will have to speak to them personally. If you notice anything suspicious, please report it to us and we will deal with it.

ATUM
Guten Tag.
The operation was partially successful. Atum reached Yuma and entered the dry dock at the Sabah shipyard. However, our alien opponents managed to achieve their goals and inflict more serious damage on the battleship than before. As expected, repairs will take longer. But then we will direct our fury against the enemy.

ATUM REPORT
Guten Tag.
My name is Waldemar Otto, and I have assumed command of operations in the Coronado system. As Alfred promised, I am sending you a detailed report of the events that have transpired.
I hope for a speedy response and further cooperation.
This report details the transfer of the battleship Atum to the Coronado system.
The escort group included forces from the Order, as well as the Gaians, who responded to the call for assistance in exchange for certain guarantees of continued assistance from Atum's commander, [REDACTED]. The ██████ Wing had arrived [REDACTED] days earlier, on October █, 835 A.S.
The primary objective was to transfer Atum to the Coronado system, where the Gaian forces would leave the escort group in the Magellan system. In Cortez, Atum would reunite with ██████████████ and continue directly to the ██████████████ in orbit around the ███████████. The █████ Wing was planned to act as a reconnaissance group, intercepting hostile ships before they made direct contact with the battleship.
The ship's transfer was successful, though not without losses among the escort group's personnel and critical damage to the battleship. Attached is a timeline of the events as of October 5, 835 A.S.
CHRONOLOGY, 05/10/835
17:35 - Ships from the █████ Wing and Commander [REDACTED] (████) rendezvous at the battleship Atum in the Vespucci system. Escort group formation is underway.
17:50 - Preparing for takeoff, receiving final orders and setting the final route point. Transfer of the route sheet to the support group.
18:02 - Battleship Atum and its escort group begin moving towards the orbit of the planet Veracruz.
18:10 - █████ Wing and ████ are deployed to the planet's orbit to conduct reconnaissance. Other Order agents not affiliated with the 34th Brigade are also participating in the mission.
18:12 - First fire contact with large enemy forces in orbit around Veracruz. Atum performs a gravity assist maneuver, giving it speed and allowing it to successfully head toward the Magellan system. The battleship takes no damage.
18:20 - Atum makes a successful jump to the Magellan system. In square ██, the battleship suffers its first minor damage. █████ Wing delays the attacking forces and then returns to the battleship to provide additional support.
18:27 - First encounter with ███████ and ████████████ in the The Barrier Cloud. Both sides provide battleship support. Another wave of attackers is repelled. The enemy is rotating its forces for another strike.
18:50 - Atum arrives in the Cortez system. Gaians abandon the escort group at Magellan as planned, handing over the battleship's protection mission to ███████ and ████████████. The enemy is using all its forces to inflict maximum damage on battleship. █████ Wing is forced to provide constant fire support to Atum. The ship sustains moderate damage, raising the risk of the operation being disrupted.
19:10 - The battleship Atum arrives in the Coronado system. Damage is nearing critical, and the mission continues.
19:20 - Atum reaches the ███████████ under heavy enemy fire. The infected continue their attempts to inflict as much damage as possible on the battleship. The final firefight leads to the emergency activation of the cloaking device and Atum's withdrawal from the battle, heading for the █████████████.
19:30 - The last of the infected forces were destroyed in orbit around the ███████████. █████ Wing returns to the ████████████ for rest and new orders. The mission is now considered a success.

Commander Otto.
Thank you for the report. it's certainly a lot more forthcoming than I anticipated. I wish we had the opportunity to see you all the way through, but that wasn't our decision to make.
Anyway. I assume your command staff was briefed on the Atacama agreements. Suffice to say we intend to fulfill our part of the deal to the letter. Be sure to let us know if you need anything because Goddess knows we'll need you in the coming months.

DATA EXCHANGE
Guten Tag.
We now need your help compiling a list of suspects. Check the cameras and black boxes of your ships and forward data on every ship that attacked Atum as of October 5, 835 A.S. We'll do the same on our end. Consider it an equal exchange of data. If you need our analysis, please send the data here. Once we've completed the list, we'll be able to open hunting season.
