MESSAGE DECRYPTING... |||||||||||||||||||||||||| 100%

Greetings fellow guild members,

A few days ago, the Guild was contacted by Bristol’s Chief of Operations, Esme Blake. She expressed a wish to establish an accord between Bristol, ALG, Gateway, and us the Guild. Seeing how her proposal would require a significant commitment from the IMG, I have decided to call the Assembly to deliberate on it.

To summarize for those members who do not operate near Liberty: Bristol is a worker cooperative based out of the Bering system, on Bristol Bay Station the site where Freeport Two once stood. Their main line of work is similar to that of ALG, focused on salvaging and smelting wrecks left scattered throughout their home system. Recently, Bristol has expanded its efforts into mining platinum in the contested Galileo system, where the local corporations, DSE and Samura, seem to be stirring up a war between their respective houses.

It doesn’t take a genius to see how grim things could soon become for Bristol.
I have attached the content of our communication for the Assembly’s review.

G'day guildmates, Leo here!

If you ask me askin' for a mutual defense pact the moment you see the stampede peek over the horizon just doesn't sit right with me. Now don't get me wrong, what's being done to them ain't right, but this kind of deal shoulda been in the works for years. We didn't get where we are with ALG and Gateway overnight after all.

That said, I agree with the spirit of the Accords. We aren't gonna get the Houses to stop overstepping unless we're workin' together, and Bristol is as much out on the border as we are. Dropping Article 5 would make the whole thing just mint, in my opinion.

Maybe then when the next mess rolls around we'll be in a position to actually put the screws on those responsible.

Esteemed colleagues,

I'd first offer up an introduction to you all. I am Haruka Onigawara.
In the absence of the previous Guildmaster, I've been elected to represent Pecos.

Now concering the proposal at hand. There's no dealings that I've personally had with Bristol up until this point but anyone not under the yoke of the Houses and their corporations should be helped. It is even written in the Guild Charter under Article VII's Solidarity clause. Let me quote from it:

"We support each other and other worker-oriented groups in times of need."

This is not to say that we should throw all our ressources into their struggle. Heaven's sake with the situation here on Pecos there's not a lot of support we'd be able to send. But I'd like to ask that we put out a call for volunteers within our ranks, maybe form them into a couple of squadrons and send them to their aid. It might not amount to a lot but would allow us deniablity of being directly involved while not letting those with similar ideals to ours hang out to dry.

Regards,
Haruka Onigawara, Guildmaster
