Quote: 2.2 - If you are killed or dock during a hostile player encounter, you must not re-enter the system or attack anyone involved in the encounter for 1 hour. Trade Ships docking during a hostile player encounter are not considered to have been "killed".

Consequences:

During an EC declared siege of Ramshackle Depot, both EC]-THR-489 and EC]-Unit-9467F were killed by base defenders, and immediately returned to kill the base in violation of the PVP Death timer. The EC]- players were clearly notified before the fight that the defenders were there to defend the POB, and were informed after they returned to shoot the POB after they were killed by the defenders that they were violating PVP death rules to illegally shoot at the POB - this indicates an intentional and malicious effort to violate server rules in order to destroy the base.

Given that EC is an official faction, the players involved are established and should have known the rules, and because the toxicity around base sieges makes everything more serious, we are taking the following actions:

EC will lose the ability to participate in POB sieges (defending, attacking, or otherwise interacting with anyone in that pursuit). EC can appeal in six months to have this privilege reinstated.

Player Lolipop12 will recieve a 2 week ban and the ship they used to participate in this siege will be deleted.

Player Apollo was recently banned for a different serious breach of the rules - as such, penalties will be a 10m fine, deletion of the ship used to participate in the siege, and a three month ban.

Bans start as of today. When the duration elapses, please notify us on this thread with a request to be unbanned and a confirmation that you have read and will follow the rules.

The POB Owner has requested that we not restore the POB, and so it will not be.

After review and appeal, we will reverse the faction moratorium on sieging - and consequences for @Lolipop12

It is determined that @Apollo acted alone and so their consequences will stand - as will the warning, as the ship in question was tagged and it is the responsibility of the OF to moderate the behavior of their members, especially when playing together and participating in a faction organized event.
