A quem possa interessar,
My name is Pantalião Vascoguoncellos, Agent for Bristol C&M. You likely haven’t done much business with Bristol - the last time our vessels were in Vespucci was last year, and as I understand it a low enough profile was kept.
As I know, the Gaian movement in Vespucci is irregular - a larger profile than would otherwise be suggested by targets, standards, so on. Veracruz is no longer a jewel, not since the Liberty Navy bombarded it, and yet Gaians still rove the system. As I know it, the system has become something of an artery for the movement.
Your Tijuana Freeport has doubtless had contact with these, to establish something of an understanding, hasn’t it?
My name is James Salworth, owner and administrator for Tijuana Freeport. I believe the Voyagers have had some contact with your group, although those appeared to be brief encounters at best. All most courteous, though, surely.
The local Gaian cohort, the ones out of Atacama, have had contact with my people and the station administration, yes, although nothing much past the occasional transmission and encounters in space. Through dealings with their organization directly as well as through the Xenos as a third party, I believe it's fair to consider our circumstance an understanding with their group. The only troublesome moment was the Society's attempt to establish an orbital facility over Veracruz, which was thankfully settled without further aggravation.
Atacama has had prior issues with organizations that have shown an interest in Veracruz, mostly with the Commonwealth before their untimely dissolution. As with Gaia, the planet possesses a rather unique environment compared to much of the rest of Sirius, as I'm sure a look of the planet will no doubt reveal. Considering that, and the Gaians' history with environmental preservation, it's only natural that they would dedicate a fair amount of focus towards Veracruz now that the space around it is largely inactive.
Despite their obvious dedication to their overall goals here, though, they have proven to be amiable neighbors, and have given us little trouble. Unless something significant comes up, I thankfully don't see much changing in that regard.

Exmo. Sr. Salworth,
Thank you for your prompt response. I understand the difficulties which come from such locations which lack general infrastructure - though the communications satellite at Iridescencia remains a good enough terminal for my uses. The Liner Barbados treats its equipment, or at the very least the equipment its clients need, rather well despite the Gaian attacks there. I’m sure Tijuana makes use of the very same.
A number of ships have been noticed, in and around Veracruz itself, rendering Unknown transponders. These fly a number of craft, some Libertonian, some Rogue, some Gaian. Fighters that attack any and all. I fear that the Atacama cohort would not respond well to Bristol - they have had issues with the organization in the past. I would ask you, Senhor Salworth, if you would be willing to inquire to them on any knowledge for these vessels, where they come from, their intentions - the unknown craft refuse any and all hails, and I think there is concern to be had on the future of Vespucci with their activity.
I would also ask that you not mention where this inquiry is coming from, and that you forward their response in full to my address. For the purposes of the truth, you understand, Senhor Salworth.
Allow me to apologize firstly for the delay in this response. The end of the holiday season, as well as the usual New Year's administrative work, took more of my attention than I expected.
Ms. Flora's response to my inquiry was concerning to say the least, and had quite an impact on the previously mentioned administrative matters. I will let her words speak for themselves, and her warnings in particular I feel would be wise to heed. I will certainly be ensuring that the Society is well briefed.
Hopefully, this will provide you with what you were hoping for, Mr. Vascoguoncellos.

Exmo. Sr. Salworth,
Thank you very much for your help in this matter. I understand that the administrative work of the New Year, and the holiday season with likely a reduced staff, can be annoying for a smaller operation like yours, in a cut-off system like Vespucci is, and I’m glad that you could take the time from your day to reach back out to me. This information will surely prove useful, and I’m glad that you have such good relations with your neighbors.
Should Tijuana require any help in the coming year, especially with the deteriorating security of Vespucci standing against you, I do hope that you will keep Bristol in mind.
