1. Monte Carlo Freeport.
2. Ames Research Station.
3. Fort Bush. Yeah. I said it. Fort Bush.

Edit: Forgot the "why".

1. Coolest looking station in Gallia by far with the snazziest bit of history.

2. Being in the middle of a dark matter storm run by ride-or-die storm chaser scientists is cool as heck for Ames. I like all the activity around it as well, showing the effort that goes into keeping life moving in near-impossible conditions.

3. I just have a soft spot for Bush and its info card, as the center of early Sirian exploration and a meeting point for traders from all over the Houses. Manhattan orbit might be considered the true center of Sirius, and people might congregate on Trenton, but Fort Bush comes off to me as the humble port of call for the honest working spacer.

Going to show my Liberty-focused roots here.

Willard Research Station

Oh and if Jammi is going to let people pull a shenanigan and list destroyed stations...

  • Bornholm!
Its a Blackmarket fight pit, that broadcasts kidnapped crews being forced to fight for freedom. That's SUPER messed up and different, and has room for explaining "why does nearby Dagger Outpost ALLOW that?!"

  • Arranmore!
Yes I'm a little biased, but I think it's cool that there's so many set dressing Solars there, too. A smattering of different ships in dock, moor or repair/salvage really drives home just how BUSY the place is!

  • Ginza Bazaar
A newer base, but a good place to park and chill at. Several ships nearby sell the feeling of a popular place to stop by, be you a tourist, visiting dignitary, or even a local New Tokyo resident.
You have an Embassy aboard an Amaterasu,
An Ahoudori turned into a gaming arcade,
A Bumblebee Onigiri joint (that is so busy that it frequently sells out)
And a Kamome turned into a little odds-and-ends shop!

Falkland. One of the most dangerous postings in the vanilla game, constantly on the edge of being found and annihilated by the Outcasts one jump from their mysterious home system. Manned by the desperate, crazy, and those willing to try to get rich quick with extremely hazardous niobium. Harsh, cold, unforgiving, but very interesting and very rewarding to those who can pull it off.

Freeport 11 being the last friendly station for humans in the Omicrons should get some nice things

Juneau. We were given a glimpse of it during singleplayer, but never quite all the crazy experiments that went on there. Now kind of redundant for Prudhoe's sake.

Tekagi's arch is also just awesome, in the original meaning. I feel like disco actually does a pretty good job of similar monuments, but nothing quite centers things like that.

1. Last time I was around my trade route usually included Falkland, because it was out of the way, the system itself is pretty cool (there's also a freeport there) and reasonably profitable compared to other things in the area. Not sure that's the case anymore but I liked having a reason to go to 37. I like traveling around/through 44 more now though so maybe argenton or sulawesi is about to slide in here.
2. Freeport 5 has that "I would rather deal with constant radiation poisoning than deal with you guys' crap" going for it, I suppose. Also it's in the pulsar system, hell yeah
3. Sendai Research Facility. It's remote but I like the look of the cloud and it makes me wish there was more reason for me to go that far out in s-59, but there never is...

That said, we could use more kyoto/barrier gate style "stations build into massive asteroid formations" imo.

One of these days, there will be a clever, stylish and/or funny signature here.
This is still not that day, however.

Niigata - The idea of a patchwork bunch of stations being drawn together for a massive star city is cool.
Invergordon - I like the shipbreaker vibes, and the fact that there are just sections bolted on that are halfway wrecked is kinda neat.
Bristol Bay - I do not pretend to be unbiased.
