PROJECT DETAILS:
SECTION IPROJECT SUMMARY
Originally an URUZ class battle transport commissioned in 825 AS by Daumann Heavy Construction as the Bodensee, under logistical assignment to Mainz Storage Facility, the vessel was one of several transport vessels commandeered by the U-Korps during the first days of the Imperial Coup. Rechristened as BDM|LV-Hrimfaxi under the command of Kapitan Ernst Ruhe, the Hrimfaxi participated in the New Berlin Airlift and earned several commendations in the operation to rescue the Federal Senate from the Bundestag compound besieged by Imperial forces.
For the remainder of the Civil War, Kapitan Ruhe and the Hrimfaxi served under Kpt Christof Träger's "Extended Logistics" division - running Imperial blockades to ferry much needed supplies from Liberty to Thuringia.
After the Civil War, the Hrimfaxi was allocated to supply requisitions from the Deep Omicrons - often hauling crucial shipments of alien materials and iridium from the Core to feed the exotic fabricators on AESIR and Schatten Research Facility.
During Operation Contrition, the Hrimfaxi was crippled by a Corsair screening squadron en route to resupply the Rheinland taskforce. While the vessel was able to limp back to the safety of Carrier Saar, the ship was written off as a total loss and replaced. Kapitan Ruhe and the crew of the Hrimfaxi were then transferred to a Bulwark class Bristol Heavy Explorer which was then re-dubbed the Hrimfaxi.

I have been informed that I am to keep a log of our ship deployments, and to make retroactive reports of our 'exploits' from the last calendar year as part of an effort to audit the Extended Logistics Department for 'accounting' purposes.
It sounds like bureaucratic nonsense, but Trager was quite insistent that the orders came from the top.
As of right now, we have completed the first leg of our scheduled supply drop to the paramilitary group known as 'Phoenix' as part of our efforts to assist in arming their campaign against the Corsairs in the Omicrons. We have moored at Freeport 11 for an exchange of stationed personnel and equipment, and we are preparing our return trip to Rheinland.
There is little else to be said for the moment, as our last traversal through Kappa has resulted in severe radiation corrosion of our outer plates - more than expected. I will be otherwise engaged with coordinating repairs and far too busy to be catching up on penning our memoirs with old mission reports. As requested, I will send this preliminary report log from the FP11 Relay on a low priority data packet. It is entirely possible that the next logs will arrive sooner than this, depending on when Relay Ops decides to transmit. Expect more during our return leg, after we have left the Kappa radiation belt.

As promised, we have prepared a very rough itinerary of our operations in the last several months.
Artifact proliferation as documented under REPORT 835.06.04C has resulted in several successful interdictions of active "RELIC" class contraband - 1234, and some inert artifacts 1
We caught a Samura barge, the Samura|-Haruto carrying 30,000 units of Azurite Gas into Omicron Gamma - given current diplomatic tensions, we elected only to sample a cargo load for hazardous materials survey purposes.
We also encountered an outcast battleship which was promptly removed.
Our archives are a bit spotty given a recent scrap with a Corsair Cruiser and a Consul in Delta which left our ship in a very sad state. No other backlogged reports are possible due to the unfortunate damaging of our black box, but per request, we will attempt to submit timely development reports as they come.
We have now moored on Alster and will be undergoing refit and repairs.

Per our new orders, we were dispatched to Dublin to investigate the radio silence of some of our operators in the region.
We encountered a corsair Hegemon bearing gold ore. Under standing orders regarding our ongoing economic conduct directives against targets deemed hostile, we initated aggressive asset forfeiture proceedings resulting in the loss of the Corsair vessel and the acquisition of gold ore.
We will attempt to gather more information on our end before initiating contact with Arranmore.

Our route to resupply took us on a shortcut through the system known as EARHART. There, we encountered two separate chirodebris miners - an IMG ship and an LSF Archon - per protocol, we offered to purchase their cargo for 300k credits per full cargo hold, but both declined. We refused their refusals and acquired the cargo through aggressive negotiations.

TRAGER: We have been looking through your recent reports. The Director and I appreciate your enthusiasm for engaging the enemy, we have some concerns regarding your generous interpretation of your rules of engagement.
RUHE: All of our equipment is within operational parameters - no element of the Hrimfaxi would trace back to the Buro, we have maintained our cover, and we have left no witnesses for any of our interdictions.
TRAGER: You have to understand, while we are not so concerned about the potential war crime allegations from engaging in combat under the cover of a civilian merchant vessel, too much notoriety will undermine our efforts to operate covertly.
RUHE: Would you prefer we do not engage targets of opportunity?
TRAGER: No, the Director is quite amused by your growing kill count - but I would much prefer you try to be more subtle -

While en route to AESIR for post-supply run maintenance, we encountered an Imperial Shipping transport full of Slog in Stuttgart. It claimed to be hauling the slog to Wichter Station, and did not take to our admonishment concerning the peddling of poison to Rheinlanders without making a scene.
I lost a cousin to slog addiction. I'm glad to have rid of some before some kids happened upon them.
APPENDED NOTES: Do at least pretend to keep these reports somewhat professional, the Director reads these! - Trager.

Upon finishing our delivery of "party favors" to Corfu, we encountered a passenger liner bearing questionable transponder codes and unusual energy emissions in the cargo hold. Naturally, we politely requested the vessel to stop for a courtesy safety inspection to investigate the unusual EM readings - but were brusquely rebuffed. After we politely insisted, we happened upon the source of the strange EM emissions and returned to AESIR with the cargo for a more detailed investigation.

During a supply run to SITE AURUM, we encountered a Corsair mining vessel carrying gold ore. We attempted negotiations to acquire these goods at a significant discount but were unable to establish a mutually acceptable price. After some aggressive counter-offers, we acquired the gold free of charge at the cost of a little percussive subtractive manufacturing on the Corsair cargo hold. Per orders, we deposited the ore on SITE AURUM and proceeded on our supply run.
