Mass Arrests on New Tokyo
New Tokyo, 01.03.836
In what can only be described as the largest public arrest conducted by the KOI within decades, roughly 137 Naval Forces and KOI personnel were arrested within the Shogunate's main building in Kōkyo District. Due to cited national security reasons, details are sparse but our investigations on the arrested turned up a few interesting details. With affected personnel ranging from lower ranked active duty personnel to mid-command levels, as well as two senior advisors to Kaigun Gensui Okamoto, our best guess is that these arrests were made in connection to a rumored botched operation roughly one year ago.
All sides declined to comment. All arrested personnel has been officially dishonorably discharged and are to stand trial in front of New Tokyo's highest military court on Tuesday, the 3rd of March 836.
We will keep you updated as soon as our investigations dig up more.
