Greetings, fellow Zoners,

As some of you may already be aware, a few days ago Lane Hackers leaked a sizeable databank. The contents appear to be schematics and logs recovered from the IKN Niyodo, a vessel equipped with one of the first prototype Jump Drives.

We have secured an intact copy and conducted an initial verification to determine whether it was genuine or a fabrication. Fortunately, it appears to be the real deal. That said, our preliminary review suggests the system is incomplete: it may be capable of opening a rift, but the package lacks a critical component. Something required to predict the exit point and navigate within the corridor itself.

The implications are unprecedented. If this technology can be made reliable, it offers what Zoners have sought for generations: absolute freedom of movement. A functioning Jump Drive would allow even our slow, slumbering Nephilim-class vessels to reach new systems and discover safer havens without relying on hazardous jump-hole networks or the long vulnerability of inter-system travel.

To that end, we are dedicating the majority of the Corinth annex to this project, alongside a substantial portion of Kadesh’s laboratories. Livadia, Sparta, and Kadesh industrial capacity will be available to fabricate prototypes and supporting infrastructure. We are also assigning an Aquillon and its escort for live testing at a remote site, to be determined.

We know the road ahead will be long —and dangerous— which is precisely why the work will be centered at Corinth, where we can maintain security, resources, and oversight. Our convoys regularly traverse Sirius, and we will gladly help you make the journey—either by joining one of our runs, or by traveling alongside it. Our Bulwarks can provide support services for vessels up to freighter size.

Alternatively, we can help you organize an independent transit with a 500,000 SC stipend per group, enough to secure escort services.

We may not have the resources of the Houses. But we have always found a way to make progress with what we have.

We hope to see Sirius’ brightest minds at Corinth.

Jump Drive Research

Zoner Protocol

Greetings Phoenix. It has been some time since our leadership has exchanged pleasantries and information. This is Dr. Sailas Montgomery, Director for SLRC.

We have long been studying the anomaly in Tau-23 in which Ikarus orbits. This research has led to many breakthroughs of our own in the field of Jump Drive technology, though clearly not as many as Kishiro has been able to develop. While their Jump Drives are able to function from point A to point B, an attempt of our own left our ship aimlessly jumping through Sirius without the ability to stop or determine where we would emerge. We lost many unmanned test ships in attempts to make this work, but ultimately resigned ourselves to keeping these systems onboard our larger craft, to be used only in the event of an emergency due to their unpredictable nature.

We will be traveling to your research outpost to aid in the dissection of this data leak provided by the Lane Hackers. With our knowledge of hyperspatial mechanics from our near decade of research in Tau-23, and more recently in neighboring systems, it is our hope that we can provide meaningful leaps forward in the development of a workable solution.

We will arrive soon -- myself included. I do not intend to miss the development of a piece of technology that propels us into the future. We look forward to working together.

Greetings, Phoenix,

Dr. Holliday has authorized me to reach out to you. My name is Eddie Sloan and I am the chief engineer here on Med Force One. I basically keep this hunk of steel, circuitry and plasma going every day. We have a jump drive here that seems to give us more trouble than it's worth so you have my attention.

I would like to be involved in some way. I'm not sure what I have to offer you but I figure another technical mind may come in handy. Let me know what you think on this. Doc has given me his blessing to participate in full.

Respectfully,
Eddie Sloan

Greetings,

As preparations near completion, we have received interesting news — as I’m sure you all have.

It confirms what we already suspected: the data is genuine, and certain parties are now doing their utmost to portray it as dangerously irresponsible. Dangerous for whom, exactly? For the people of Sirius, or for those whose monopoly and control over others would be shattered by it? With this technology, anyone may one day slip beyond their grasp.

On another note, Phoenix has unlocked an exceptional budget of **100,000,000 SC** for this endeavor, to cover whatever needs or compensation may arise.

We expect to begin shortly, and a full communication will be sent once everything is in place.

Jonathan Cayran, out.

MISSIVE FROM THE INTERIOR DIRECTORATE OF THE UTSUNOMIYA COMMONWEALTH
REGARDING THE NIYODO LEAK AND JUMP DRIVE TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENTS

団結すれば我々は立ち上がる。分裂すれば我々は倒れる。
United we Stand, Divided we Fall.

Greetings, Starlight, Phoenix, Med Force and other Zoner organizations, corporations and collectives.

It is a interesting time for Sirius, is it not? The Niyodo leak provides some unique opportunities for Sirius at large in terms of technological advancement, and one that Zoner Society, especially in its' dedication to computer sciences, frontiersmanship, and shipbuilding, mustn't delay in.

The Utsunomiya Commonwealth's Directorate for Sciences and Health has begun work on exploitation and research of the technologies leaked by the Lane Hackers. Whilst we've had some luck with the rare one-off bespoke prototypes from smaller third-party endeavors, the chimes ring for a new era of space travel that we must ensure for the prosperity of Zoner society, and for free and open exploitation of this technology by humanity at large. In this moment we are open to cross collaboration with like minded collectives and causes to ensure this vision.

Starcat Holdings SOE CEO Brent Allinson has assured me that logistics support remains on standby if Phoenix or other members of our initiative require materials transport assistance for the project.

Let this be the start of a fruitiful endeavor that sees a more connected, expansive future for us all.
