I ordered Indian food tonight, biryani and vindaloo, and thought of @Rodent
He was a real one, and I never saw anyone really speak a bad word of him in life or in death. My wife joked about opening up an Indian fusion place, and I had a hard think about and said "If Thakur were still around."
So I guess I'm using this thread like a bit of a wind phone. We still talk about you, we still think about you.
My views on an afterlife still remain on the same mercurial bent they've been through since my teens, but I like to think that he knows. I like to think you know, old friend.
