The OS&C|Golden.Hind is the latest offering in Orbital Spa & Cruise's White Star Line flagship series. The name is taken from the rare historical records of the sleeper ships our ancestors came to the Sirius Sector on. The great English explorer Sir Francis Drake made the 2nd Earth circumnavigation on his own Golden Hind, a sailing ship named after a fleet-footed red deer.
With Britonia at rest after many years of war-time austerity, the Golden Hind is primarily intended to give the weary populace a safe and transformational time away. No need worry about war and survival aboard the luxury liner, they are free to travel the sector in peace. To take in the many wonderous sights far from home as their ancestors once did aboard the Golden Hind's namesake.
The Golden Hind has been carefully outfitted by Curacao's finest interior designers. Numerous inspirational visits to house archives and private collections yielded many reference passages and images of the ancient ships of sail. Pairing this inspiration with modern technology and comfort has yielded one of the finest luxury liners Orbital Spa & Cruise have ever produced. Rich warm wooden paneling flows across hallways and suites, with tasteful gilding and carvings around every corner. A light sea salt breeze can be summoned on demand in every suite. Period appropriate decorations and impeccable reproduction art can be found throughout the luxury liner. Themed restaurants and abundant entertainment options from the time period are clustered on the port-mid decks, where guests can immerse themselves in the ancient atmosphere. Period outfits are also available for a small fee to guests wanting to fully immerse themselves.
A variety of cabin types are available for guests. They range from the comfortable and familiar Orbital Spa & Cruise suite present aboard every vessel in the fleet. To exact reproductions of ancient captain cabins for a complete immersive experience. There are also luxurious nautical themed suites to call forth the naval explorer feeling, but with many more modern comforts then exact reproductions can provide.
The Golden Hind is captained by Lionel Thistle, a man who has flown around the Sirius Sector for almost two decades. A captain who knows all the good spots for the exclusive views only Orbital Spa & Cruise can provide. He is assisted by the ever professional staff and crew OS&C is famous for, and have already undertaken several shake-down full cruises to make sure your first cruise is perfect. They are ever ready to make the voyage as comfortable and immersive as guests request, an experience tailored just for you. There are rumors that the original Golden Hind and her captain may have been privateers, but as OS&C is fully licensed by all house governments, reenactments of any shady acts will be limited to aboard-ship only...
