Hey Vince, we just finished the second run down to Barrier.

And I know it sounds cheesy, but remember that no plan survives first contact.

Normally not getting paid wouldn't even bother me but as I said before, did have a partner on this endeavour. And unfortunately I think they're starting to grow on me. So, yeah, the payment is kinda' important on this one.

Bleed them dry? I wish, but the client is neither a fool, nor someone I picked up on the street. In more ways than one, I need this biz' to work out. The stakes are high and lives are on the line.

You'll get your cut when the deed is done. So far with all the money I spent on prep work, your share should sit nicely at about 3.000,000 Credits to split between the two of you. If you really can't wait, I'll give that money on the spot. Or you can hold out and wait for the client to feel the dopamine that comes out of a job well done, meaning I can up your cut at about 4.000,000 Creds'.

Your choice. For the job of towing ships from A to B, I'd say that's pretty damn good.

Wow, way to minimize a gal's work, Vincent. After all, this whole endeavour has shown me what the work of a fixer entails, what with the juggling all the Hackers, my partner and yourself all at once. And honestly? It's making me wonder just how bloody high you were when you ever decided to do the whole bloody fixer thing in the first place. It's such a pain in the arse, I've no idea how you ever put up with it.

Anyway, jokes aside, yeah that number does a lot to assuage concerns, we'll wait.

But for just fucking once in your life, could ya' not dive head first into the mess that's high stakes with lives on the line? There's so very few people in this sector I can stand that aren't dead, rather not see the number go down any further, yeah?
