As you may be aware, despite our reputation, the Order has the goal of defending Humanity against the Nomads and their enslaved thralls, Unfortunately that does occasionally means taking drastic action with all the consequences that brings.
What you might not know is that the battle in the Omicrons is going poorly. The Nomad assault in Omicron Zeta destroyed both Order and Core installations, not to mention the damage sustained in other systems. While repairs have been going well we are finding ourselves in need of transporting repair teams in a more efficient manner and well, who knows more about that then yourself?

First of all, let me tell you that to inform any of the "House intelligence services" is the Last thing I would ever do. After all, we don't want to give them any reason to stick their noses into things that are absolutely none of their business. Curacao and many other OS&C Properties are out of the Borders of the Houses for a very good Reson After all. And even the Properties we own in house Space only cooperate as much as they have to to be left alone. We do not care for the Feelings of the Houses towards potential business partners, OS&C is Neutral for a Reason, and as Long as this Neutrality is Respected we see no Reason to play the Role of a Snitch. That, of course, doesn't mean that we won't take a couple of Safety Measures when we deal with those that the Houses would rather see Dead.
But the Order has so far quite a good Reputation in our Books. Our Captains Speak Highly of your Help in the Borderworlds and the Protection your Pilots offer for our Passengers when they have to fly to Destinations such as Freeport 11. We are of course, not Blind to the Nomad Threat and know of its existence. We count on the Bravery of the Order to a certain Degree when we plan our routes. After all, after all while an Order ship in the Houses might be a sign of Trouble, in the Borderworlds it's often the Saviour that Protects us.
But that's enough Pleasantries and Reasurances for now. We have indeed not heard more than some whispering rumors about the Situation in Omicron Zeta. Usually, our Routes never take us beyond Freeport 11. After all the Pilgrim Tours for the Zoners between the Omicrons and Baffin is quite the Lucrative Business with a Halfway Calculable Risk. And even when we only Send Speicalized Liners on these Tours, there is still a substantial risk involved. So if our Help with your Transport Needs will lead to an Increase in Regional Security, then we could surely find a way to help you.
Now then, you mentioned Engineering Teams, so I assume you are interested in our Dorados or the Taurus? Both would be Exelent Choices for a Passenger Shuttle. Both are Small Enough to dock with Capital Sized Assets and fit nicely into their hangars. If you tell me how many Members such a Repair Team Contains and how many Supplies they want to take with them, then we can surely figure something out. The Two Ships in Question are Highly Modular, so a Modification should not be a Big Problem for us. And if you are in need of Larger Vessles, then we surely can find a way to arrange that as well.

I must admit, it is refreshing to encounter such a practical approach, suffice to say most corporate higher ups don't have the reputation of being able to see beyond profit margins after all.
To get to the point we were indeed hoping to obtain one of your Dorado class vessels. The engineering teams we need to move operate in relatively small groups, at least small compared to what I imagine your liners transport. Add that due to the constant combat most of our drydocks are in constant use to repair our capital assets, a smaller vessel would be far more convenient to maintain, less taxing for our available facilities if you will.
A typical engineering team will consist of five to ten individuals and their personal gear, we expect to move one to three teams at once per trip. This is also partly for risk management, we don't want our people harmed not to mention Engineers in the Omicrons are not exactly easy to replace.
Regarding any customization we will defer to your expertise, it is worth emphasizing the hostile environment in the Omicrons however.

My "practical approach" must be a leftover from growing up on a Junker Ship. I am always of the belief that no business is bad business. Its Never bad to have some Friends and to have some Conections.
Well, we can definitely help you with that Request . I would propose to upgrade the Armor of the Ship and see if we can mount the Weapons that your Pilots are experienced with. Our Ships are Designed so that every Pilot will know right away how to Fly it. But we of course also Deliver some Training Programs with the Vessel as well. But i think your Pilots should have no Problems to get used to our Tech and Cockpit Layouts. After all we Hire many Former Police and Military Pilots, and want to keep Re-Training Times as low as possible.
Apart from that i would propose a Radical Redesign of the Interior. I have Talked to our Designe and Engeniering Department an dnd they came up with a Proposal. I would Propose a Modular Ship. We plan for up to 3 Areas for Engeniering Teams. Due to the Size Restrictions of the Dorado we have to Use Bunkbeds instead of Regular ones. But we plan for A Modular System so if you just send out 1 Team you can Replace the Beds and give your Engeniers some more Compfort and Privacy. Apart form the Bed Situation we plan for 3 Rooms for the Teams with 4 Bunk Beds Each. If used for a full 10 Pepole Team we can Install some Extra Beds within an Hour, but that would Decrease Crew Compfort even Further than we think is necessary.
We also planed for a Special Acomedation for the Team Leaders or Officers, whatever you want to call them. The Psycologist of the Designe Department told us that a Seperation of Leaders and Team will Decrease the Tensions and Stress that can apear during Intense and Exausting Missions. We also Plan for a Comunal Lounge were the Crew can Relax after a long hard day with some Movies and Games. We Plan to Install a State of the Art Entertainment System with the Newest in Entertainment and Gameing Hardware. The Same will be installed in the Crew and Officers Cabins as we know that you sometimes just want to enjoy your Privacy.
Of course the ship also haves to be Functional. And was we dont expect that every Mission Location will Have a Nice Workshop for your Engeniers Ready to use we have Decided to Install one on the Ship. Like this your Teams will be able to Solve 80 to 90% of the Problems with On Board Mashines and Resources. A Generouse Cargohold with a Capacity of Around 150 to 200 Units of Cargo is also Included in the Package. We think like this we have Created a Good Package Deal for your Engeniers and have taken all of there Needs into Consideration. But if you have some more Wishes for the Final Product then please feel free to tell us. For now i have Included the Proposed Deck Plan of the Engeniering Dorado for you to Review.
This is the second time you have surprised me. When you mentioned the vessels were modular I did not expect them to be so to this degree.
Your proposed layout would suit the requirements we have perfectly. The bunk beds will be perfectly fine, we're used to spartan circumstances this far out in the Omicrons. To be blunt, what you have proposed will likely already make any team not assigned to the Dorado envious of those that are, especially with the workshop.
As for the armor plating, agreed. This might just be one of the most vital parts of the design if this vessel is to operate in the Omicrons.
How long do you think it would take to prepare the vessel for operational use? Our engineers are eager to get started on their assignments and the extra capacity the Dorado brings would be a welcome addition to our logistics.

I am always happy when I can surprise people. To do that saved my Beacon more than once in my life. Now then lets talk business. I have involved only the most Trustworthy Engeniers into this Project and made sure that Secrecy is completely guaranteed. Officialy this Project is for DSE, but of course, that is only for the Books if someone comes looking. The Ship will disappear in a Surprise Gaian Attack while it's on a Test Flight. With how Fanatic the Gaians are when it comes to us, no one will doubt that story. We might even spread some debris around to fake an Ambush Scene, just in case some overly Motivated Agent tries to solve a Case.
Now then, for your Question about a possible Time Frame for this Project. We will start with a Fully Striped Dorado. The only things already installed are the Cockpit, Medbay, and Crew Quarters, as these 3 Are Standard among all OS&C Dorados. Still, this is our First time making this special design, so it might take a bit longer. We Expect 4 to 6 Weeks for the Production and Instalment of all the Parts. The Cabins are just Variations of our Basic Economy Cabins, so that will save some time as we just have to install the Modular Cabins. Still its quite the Custom Job, and even when we know that you want to have this ship as fast as possible, we have to make sure that everything is tried and tested, and you won't have any Problems in the Field that go above basic Maintainance. But of course, we are sure that a ship full of Engineers can solve any Problems quite Easy.
Should you need more Vessels of this Kind, then the Production Time might Decrease, as we already have the Experience from the First Vessel. But a first-of-its-kind always deserves some extra Attention. And after all, this is a Custom and Specialized Job.
The Prize of a Fully Equipped Standard Dorado is usually around 30 to 50 Thousand Credits. Dependent on the Equipment and Weapons the Owner Chooses. For a Custom Dorado, we usually demand a minimum of 100.000 Credits, and there are no upper Limits. But as you make our Routes Safer and we basically pioneer a new Kind of Dorado that we can sell to the Open Market i have spoken with the other Directors and we came to the Conclusion that we will only Bill you for Material and Labour. That means the cost for your Dorado will be 72.075 Credits. That Price of course includes Shipping. We will simply load the Dorado onto one of our Liners and deliver it with a Regular Cruise all the way to Freeport 11. Payment can either be made right on the Spot or wired to OS&C|Guilder[Bank]. While the construction duration is longer than I would have preferred far be it for me to argue against a high quality product, especially when it comes to spacecraft.
We have taken the liberty of transferring the requested funds through some of our intermediaries, you will find no tax issues with these 'clean credits'.
Quite unfortunate those 'Gaians attacks', perhaps there will be a mysterious increase in those around the time newly constructed vessels are being transported in the future.

It's been a while since we had Contact. I am Pleased to inform you that your Ship have arived on Freeport 11. We have Simply Declared her an extra lifeboat, and no one in the houses even cared to inspect it. We have parked her in Hangar 3B, and she is Ready for Pickup. I am sure you have some Agents on board of the Sation that Can Pick her up.
The ship went through all Trials and tests with Flying Colors, and our engineers are pretty proud of her and the work they have done. I even got already have some Requests to build a Couple of them for our own use. So if you and your engineers have some ideas for Improvements of the Concept please let us know.
