I was hoping we could split it up actually, if you're still willing that is.
The new blood in the Outer Circle is... it doesn't live up to our names lets say.
Malta and my old Mentor have as little interest in me as I had in them when I left. I figure if nothing else throwing Ageira's monopoly into dismay is a good angle to have.
Well, the biggest thing is the chunk of Kusari's Jump Drive project I swiped out from under Liberty with the help of Cipher team from the Gatebreakers.

Everything I've pulled has just been from having Mactan brute force the terminals. I could probably breach pretty deep into the Argonaut-3's terminal if I had the ability to regen some of the access hashes off of LSF or Liberty Navy. Truth be told, though, I'm neither a one-man-army, nor a Master Assassin, nor even a regular Assassin, so I came to the conclusion that hunting down battlegroups to pick off high value targets and snatch hashes off of their blackboxes was a little outside my scope of skill.
I couldn't even begin to guess what I'd need to get more out of the Niyodo. I'd imagine Naval Forces or KOI. Kishiro? But access hashes wouldn't be enough, I'd need another terminal to cross-reference, too. If it comes to blows between Liberty and Kusari, maybe we could third-party and get something out of them, but outside of that I'm drawing a blank.
In other news, seems the snakes have taken over Ontario. I don't have any direct evidence, but it seems safe to say that Lovelace capitulated. I was in the communication channel where Xenos started making demands, and the one thing they didn't say was "no". I'm sure you remember how playing nice with Xenos ends, so I figured to just leave them to it and let them learn the hard way. If you remember that Fiorella DeMarco lady, she's also under the Xenos.

AGREEMENT: THE KEPLER ACCORDS Maltese Representative: Fiorella A. de Marco Xenos Representative: Damien Morreti
1. Introduction
The Kepler Accords is a preliminary trade agreement dealing with the Cardamine trade and other related matters between the interested families and clans of Malta, represented by Fiorella Arianna de Marco, and the Xenos Alliance cell from the LFR, represented by Commander Damien Morreti.
The agreement was verbally concluded on 11th of May, 829 A.S., and confirmed in writing on 16th of May, 829 A.S.
2. Contents of the Agreement
2.1. Mutual Non-Aggression
Both Parties shall cease offensive actions against each other and shall open fire against each other only in self-defence.
2.2. Trade Route
The trade route itself will run through California and Ontario to Ouray base in Colorado, where the cargo will be unloaded and resold to the Xenos for the final distribution.
2.3. Base Access
The Xenos bases, with the exception of Fontana Freeport, will remain inaccessible to Maltese ships at this early stage of the trade. Maltese freighters and their escorts directly involved in trade with Cardamine will have the necessary access to Ouray base in Colorado.
2.4. Cardamine Exclusivity
The Xenos pledge to be directly involved only in the distribution of Cardamine and not to serve as intermediaries for Malta's enemies, especially the Corsairs. This condition does not prohibit the Xenos from selling contraband obtained from destroyed or hijacked ships as this is not direct distribution, but a sale of the captured loot to fuel their further activities.
2.5. Dealing with Rivals
The Xenos pledge to disrupt the business activities of Malta's rivals, especially the Corsairs, and to suppress physical and economic influence in Liberty. The Xenos pledge to compete with their rivals so as not to disrupt the overall distribution and consumption of Cardamine.
3. Future of the Agreement
The Kepler Accords is currently only a preliminary agreement establishing the first economic ties between Malta and the Xenos, and may be superseded or supplemented by other agreements regulating relations as the importance of mutual trade grows and relations become more cordial.
4. Termination of the Agreement
The Kepler Accords may be cancelled by either or both parties and will terminate within seven days of notification.
Technocracy came looking for the Jump Drive tech shortly after I got it. Frankly, after doing my research on Auxesia and Sapphire Raven, not too inclined to trust them any farther than I can kill them. Too much alien business that involves a whole lot of not shooting the aliens.
Order has come through looking for a way to stop the Core's brand new Gammu A.I. army, apparently they came up with a way to control them. Not my circus, not my monkeys, especially since I still get chased around by Liberty Navy and LSF Bastets, but I guess poking around a Gammu A.I. beats staring at the impossible and infinite Jump Drive equations for another day in a row.
Lovelace also seems to be looking at picking up the Artifact trade off of Unioners. Hemlocke's gone, so of course the Unioners feel free to kick around Texas again, and as usual I'm barely a Deceiver, not an Assassin, so I ain't really feel like hunting them down.
Pick your poisons, I guess? Less time keeping an eye on everything else gives me more time to work on this Jump Drive situation.
I guess that's what time alone does to you, the project log is an impressive bit. You might be curious to delve into Malta's research on interstellar travel. Most of the models for interstellar travel have separate applications that function as power cores for our warships, I'm sure someone would lend you an ear.
"Lovelace" I keep hearing worse and worse things. I ran into one of their transports out and about today, I'm just going to leave a friendly impression for now...
Pairing up with and refusing to stand against the Xenos is plain cowardice, unfortunately we aren't in much of a position to push back against our own without shooting ourselves in the foot.
If you really want blackbox data, I could take out a few of these KOI fighters and provide you with what I find. Don't get yourself killed, if you need other avenues of delving into Kusari's workings on interstellar travel I may be able to call upon a few old contacts. Maybe being a professor still counts for something.
For blackboxes, I'd prefer catching LSF. The Argonaut was a completely automated thing, I managed to breach its higher levels over the Trade Lane network relays. Unlocking the security on the Niyodo's terminal would be nice, but it can only really answer so many questions. Might have a lead on the Kusari end of things, but I'd give it a higher chance that it's a trap. Fortune favors the bold, though.
Malta's interstellar travel research is a good call, I'll check in on Destroyer Insidious before I start asking Malta directly. Other than that, if something catches your eye, feel free to hit it up.
